Hydrangeas for a Simple Valentine's Table

 Hello sweet friends !

It's been a month since I blogged last, I think. You see, I had my daughter Sofia, her husband, Victoria 16, Cayetana just 14 and baby Carlos-Alonso 2; here, as guests for almost a month.

It's been so wonderful and so fulfilling to visit with our sweet Sofie and our great teenagers, who are smart, fun and lots of fun.

The other day I was invited with Sofie and the girls to a Hydrangea Farm, that belongs to a school friend of my oldest Alexandra. She sells nationwide for all the various events and dealers. Now Rosie and her husband are exporting to Miami.

I wish them the best, as I've never seen such huge and gorgeous hydrangeas.

I created a simple, but elegant tablescape with red rimmed, oriental plates for Valentine's.

With that said.

Here I am, feeling great in Hydrangea-Heaven ! My daughter Alexandra's friend from school is Rosie's Hydrangea Farm - "Hortensias del Cabogana."

She sells all over Ecuador and now she's exporting to Florida.

These Hydrangeas are amazing and huge. So beautiful !

Next time I will share the purple ones that are just growing.

Here I created a Valentine's table with red rimmed plates and white.

I took advantage that Rosie, the owner, gave Sofia and me a lot of the gorgeous hydrangeas, so I have them all over the house. I wish they never die.

My dear friend Mariette, from Blog "Mariette Back to Basics"...  calls and knows them as the 'MOP' kind, because of such big heads, I guess.

The red rimmed Oriental plates give this setting the touch of Valentine's.

Aren't the Hydrangeas too much ?!

I used this stunning, Italian silk embroidery tablecloth that is my MIL's heirloom. Probably from the 1950's.

Here they are again inside my 'Delft-Imari' bowl, on top of my coffee table.

I hope my daughter will come back with her family in a couple of weeks so we can celeb Valentine's at this table.

I, however, will have to 'buy' some hydrangeas to make one arrangement for a centerpiece.

Thank you dear friends for your kind comments, you so make my day !

Thanking the lovely hostesses for their great parties.

                                                 LOVE,

                                                  FABBY
