Hello sweet friends !
Like the title of my post says, my dear cousin Silvana came from Tampa, along with her fiance Joe Ciaccio to meet the family who live here in Ecuador. She also came along with our other cousin Pollyanna from Guayaquil and so I invited them at home along with my brother Joe, Julio and Stephanie from NJ and my best friend.
I arranged my luncheon table for eight in a Winter-January motif with my Portuguese Magnolia china I brought from Madrid a year and half ago, to keep some green, but mostly white to resemble a little bit of a 'Winter wonderland.'
With that said !
Wishing you all a wonderful 2020 !
I placed my 'Friendly Village' large serving platter under the soup tureen, because it didn't come with a base plate. |
The pearl napkin holders were a gift from my daughter Sofia a couple of years ago. |

Love, love this magnolia pattern china ! |
Fabby,
ReplyDeleteExquisite!
Every element of this tablescape is gorgeously complimenting your lovely China!
Love, Love, love this magnolia pattern china !
I'm sure your daughter was thrilled to see the napkin rings she had gifted you
on this Luncheon Tablescape set for Family!

Magnolia magnificent!!!!
ReplyDeleteAll looks absolutely gorgeous Fabby. We have so many Southern magnolia trees here in North Carolina - they grow very tall and are beautiful and fragrant when in bloom - but sadly such a mess when the leaves drop. Their thick, green and glossy leaves do make popular mantel and table decorations at the holiday season.
Your visitors must have been thrilled when they saw this table!
Happy New Year to you and your delightful family.
ReplyDeleteWhat a splendid winter tablescape! Happy New Year, Fabby.
ReplyDeleteLovely as always!

You set such a pretty table and I love that little white deer. Hope you have a happy 2020.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as usual! Your elements come together to form a beautiful setting for gathering. I have my Grandmothers set of Magnolia china for the '50s and use it often. I greatly admire yours as well.
ReplyDeleteYour table is appropriately wintry, yet warm and inviting. What a lovely setting for lunch with such special folks! I enjoyed seeing your magnolia dishes again, they're so elegant and versatile. The magnolia in our front yard will soon be budding.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!

Fabby,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this pretty Winter tablescape!! Your magnolia dishes are lovely as is your flat ware...I love gold flatware and have a serving for 10 and then I found a simple serving for only 2 at a yard sale!! Everything looks so charming and I am sure your guests loved this pretty table that you set for them!! I have recovered nicely from my knee replacement surgery and I am able to do things that I have not done for many years so I am looking for to this year and enjoying my retirement..
Hugs,
Deb
