October Rosary Tea and Fall Decorations

Hello sweet friends !

Weather you like, or not Halloween, here it is over as is the month of October. It is amazing how soon Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here and thus the year 2018 will end before we realize it !

Today, the last Wednesday of the month, I hosted my monthly Rosary prayers with my friends and prayed for all of you, for all the sick people we know and don't know, for our countries, may God bless us all, He only knows all the blessings we need.

As usual I offer my friends after prayers, coffee, tea or hot chocolate with a couple of types of warm bread, cheese and home made marmalade like today; sometimes I also add some 'Dulce de Leche' for a spread on bread. It is a mostly humble tea time.

I've also been Fall decorating around the house a little, not moving much what was already there, but I have enjoyed doing it and so I wanted to share it with you.

Happy November, the month of Thanking Lord.

I love this Egyptian piece where I gathered some Chinoiserie and a Delft cachepot or bowl with a few Indian corn.

My Oriental ladies are the cutest, ever !

The cute small console at the entrance hall to our bedroom is a heirloom piece from dear MIL and I love it cause it's so small and cute!

The Delft cashepot is decorated with dried painted gourds I did a few years ago.
My beloved 'dough bowl' is in the background of our breakfast area, next to the formal dining room section. I explained a few times before that the idea of this breakfast area was mainly to sit more guests at large dinner parties.

In this photo you can appreciate how close the breakfast area is to the formal dining room section.

People always ask me what the floor is and wonder if it's ceramic tiles, but no it isn't, it's marble with black marble diamonds as well.

I added my elegant 'mercury glass' pumpkins and candle on a antique pewter tray and flanked by two bisque porcelain reindeers.

One end table with a mercury glass pumpkin candle holder too.

The other end table.

The 100 year old Virgin Mary a MIL's heirloom and the childs chair, which after the Rosary I rearranged it in the pic below this one.

My daughter Alexandra had this cute childs chair and when she got married and left for Madrid she didn't take it cause it's of metal and thus very heavy.
It's funny cause her little daughter loves to sit there when she comes to visit us, so it's Maxima's chair now, lol..

The chair at your left is an antique Italian folding chair. The white basket with little pumpkins and gourds was the centerpiece of my Oct. Rosary table setting.

Some of you might remember I brought this china with the Magnolis flower from Spain last May.

The table for our October Rosary tea was set on top of my new green leaves topper, only it's square for the breakfast table, therefore, I adjusted it with some creme color placemats, as the tablecloth.

Here is the white basket centerpiece, which after the Rosary tea I took it to display it at a living room's nook.

The pretty 'pearl' napkin rings were a gift for last 'Mother's Day' from DD Sofia.

Thank you dear friends for your kind comments, you always make my day !

Thanking the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties and for your support by 'honoring me' with so many features !

LOVE,
FABBY
