Father's Day Setting with Silk ties

Hello sweet friends !

Since we gave each other gifts for Mother's and Father's Day last month in Spain; now I created a table in honor of my husband and all the Father's in blogland using Alejandro's silk ties, along with 'newspaper' placemats, I got the newspaper idea from a local store and recreated it for my scape.

Alejandro loved the table for a change, since he rarely comments anything he is so used to me, but this table he thought it was so different and fun and he even made the knots on each tie for me.

So he did make me smile too.

Have a wonderful Father's Day with your husbands, sons, friends, etc. Blessings to all the dear dads in the world.

Ok, so much for that, here it is.

                                      HAPPY FATHER'S DAY !

White Noritake and gold rimmed china, Newspaper placemats and silk ties in honor of a great father Alejandro, my dear hubby.

I chose calla Lilly on a black flower vase for a masculine table.
The stemware is Viennese-Italian.

Champagne for six, as I arranged the table for six guests.

Thank you dear friends for your kind comments, you always make my day !

Thanking the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties.

LOVE,
FABBY

Back from Madrid and Tablescape

Hello sweet friends!

Boy! This is the longest I've been away from you and bloggy; but I'm so happy to be back.

We spent a whole month visiting our dear Alexandra, her husband and baby Maxima who is 18 months already !

We went traveling to many places in gorgeous Spain and we had a fabulous time.

One evening my daughter Alexandra hosted a dinner party for 14 guests, including two couples that were her cousins who went on business to Madrid.
Of course I helped with the formal dining table with the setting for eight with their beautiful French china, "Raynaud Co.-Limoges, France" and our former "Ceramic Co. Monte Turi" china in her kitchen table for the remaining six guests.

Here some pictures of the table and of us in Madrid.

Hubby and me somewhere in Spain, lol..

Our sweet darling Maxima at 18 months old. We miss her so much.

All of us in Spain. Of course daughter Alexandra with her family, live in Madrid.

Royal Albert - Old Country Roses three tier cake plate was Alejandro's gift for Mother's Day and DD Alex's plate to match.
We spent MD's together in Spain and had a special and wonderful time.

Alexandra hosted a great dinner party for 14 guest, including two couples of first cousins that were in Madrid on business, so it was great.

I took my mother's or her grandmother's hand crocheted tablecloth as a heirloom for Alexandra to keep and she used it for her dinner party, as the chargers have that cut out, lace look too.

The china is "Raynaud-Limoges, France."

The place set in the formal dining dinner table was set up for 8. The kitchen table was set for 6.
Alexandra placed name places with whatever she found because the guestswere very eclectic.

The dining set furniture is English beautiful and the chairs are with a lovely red toile.

The kitchen table was set up for six with Alexandra's own china we made for her back at our Ceramic Co.-Monte Turi.

Thank you so much dear friends for your sweet and kind comments, you always make my day !

Thanks to the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties.
