Hello sweet friends !
So I finally could come up to make a Valentines table setting for Mr. Living and me.
I used a couple of settings for us two of my mom's old, not complete everyday china from when I was just a kid back in Astoria-Queens, NY.
I thought it is a cute romantic pink floral just for this special Love Day.
The china is Bavaria, Germany. There's a sign but nothing more.
Wishing you my dear friends a wonderful and romantic Valentines, even if it is with your kids, grandkids, or friends.
I baked our favorite Chocolate Cake with Red Fruit topping. Actually it's with chocolate too. I baked it on my 'heart Wilton' cake pan. |
I set it for Valentine's dinner at our beloved antique French foyer table. |
Nothing like Chocolate Cake for dessert to celebrate Valentine's ! |
So beautiful and elegant.
ReplyDeleteDearest Fabby,
ReplyDeleteThat is a precious Valentine's Day setting for the two of you!
Full of fond childhood memories due to the old china from Germany.
The top plate resembles very much the Sanssouci Rose by Rosenthal...
Your chocolate cake is a master piece!
Hugs and Happy Valentine to you both.
Mariette
