Hello sweet friends!
I know most of you my friends and my family in the USA are so happy that Spring is officially here...although some of you are still stepping on lots of snow!
I know soon sunshine and flowers blooming would be your lovely sight to enjoy!
I have inspired myself in my fresh alstroemeria flowers, on my pretty white Portuguese pitcher with the Fleur de Lys; hubby bought for me a couple of months ago....and my other inspiration came from all of you and specially from 'Ivonne at Stone Gable.'... who has something pretty posted now for her "Thursday Spring Vignette Party."
Here it is, hope to see you there!
HAPPY SPRING 2014!
The lovely alstroemerias, rabbits on top of my 'Cookies' stoneware jar and white dishes in a wicker tray. |
Love my Portuguese white pitcher as a flower vase. |
I'm joining Ivonne for her "Thursday Spring Vignette Party at Stone Gable." Hope you join too, it'll be very inspiring! |
Flowers and rabbits, stealing my carrots...how Springy can it get?! |
My Mil's vintage lace doily. |

ReplyDeleteYour vignette looks very pretty. I like the basket and the beautiful flowers. I also was inspired but Yvonne's blog to change my tray on the dining table today. I love changing it up every few weeks. Enjoy the coming weekend.
ReplyDeleteHola, Fabby. How sweet your vignette is. I remember those fat bunnies with the droopy tummies and bottoms LOL...they are sooo cute! You'd better be careful, they'll be eating your plant too! :) It's such a pretty vignette! It says spring for sure! Happy Easter season to you, Fabby! ~Zuni
ReplyDeleteYou have such pretty things, Fabby. I know you must be getting tired of your crummy old dishes! I would be so happy to take those off your hands for you. LOL
ReplyDeleteYou have been blessed with a wonderful hubby that likes to spoil you with pretty dishes and pieces. And, you, my lovely lady always show them off in the perfect way.
Happy Spring to you- your vignette is just gorgeous. I love those cute little rabbits, too. I have not seen any quite like them. xo Diana

Hello Fabby! I really love using pitchers as flower vases. And your new teacups are chic, seriously adorable! Happy Spring (is it Spring or Fall where you live?).
ReplyDeleteMy Dearest, You are so sweet. Oh, to live closer and be invited to one of your parties. I can only dream of them. As always fun and wonderful. Thanks for stopping by and especially thanks for such sweet comments. Richard and Sissy Dog from My Old Historic House.

Happy Pink Saturday, dear Fabby!! Yes, the little ones sure are growing up too fast... I'm missing 'the baby years' with my almost 8 year old. It feels so long ago and he's so grown up :) My pink princess is still my baby even though she'll be 5 in November and start school after Christmas. Oh, my the time sure flies..! Have a lovely weekend! Autumn hugs from Australia♥ ~Pernilla
ReplyDeleteFabby,
ReplyDeleteI adore your Trayscape, dear friend!!!
The pitcher is exquisite!!!
The angle of your dishes within the wicker tray intriques me.
Love the whimsical touches the rabbits and eggs bring to the vignette!!!
This post made me smile as I, too, Welcome Spring!
Fondly,
Pat
Love all of this Fabby! Your whimsical bunnies, your new white teacups, the cookie jar! Lovely Easter eggs too! Happy spring to you! (Your package is on its way -- about 10 days to 2 weeks they said).
ReplyDeletePicture perfect for spring!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. SO glad Spring is finally here but, you're right - some folks in the northern USA still have snow and cold weather.
ReplyDeleteDearest Fabby,
ReplyDeleteAnd what about the stepchild 'tray'? That is lovely too! All of it is... Funny your cookie jars bought in the 90s. In the 80s I bought a Douwe Egberts Dutch coffee jar with gold emblem, the very same with clasp lock. I was lucky for finding one more like that and I do store coffee in them.
What a lovely Fleur de Lys vase with those flowers in.
Hugs,
Mariette
Yea, we are celebrating Spring here in Norway too! And soon Easter is to come...
