FABBY: Home Made Brioche for Breakfast

Hello sweet friends!

Yesterday I got great news from sweet and pretty Deborah who had 3 MONTH Bloggiversary!
Can you just imagine, I didn't! She's such an expert blogger, very talented indeed, I love her blog and I have felt I've been friends with her for at least a year, lol!

If you have a chance here is where you can go visit this lovely lady's blog which is just like the title says:  "The Beautiful Matters."

I will make a post with the adorable teacup and saucer, plus a the lovely vintage tea towel, I won!

Now for my new post. Let me start by saying that you guys, my blogger friends are the best, ever! You Inspire me everyday in every sense. My favorite thing to do, besides decorating, is baking.

While visiting pretty April and her great food blog, 'Dimples & Delights,' I saw a fabulous recipe for: "Fool-Proof Homemade Brioche" and decided I need to do this and I did!

We loved it, specially hubby and I highly recommend you go get this recipe over at lovely April's food blog, because my bread is not as pretty as her perfectly braided one, with her tutorial an all, as mine is just a loaf!

Here goes, hope you like it!

I'm also sharing a picture with my darling grandgirls who went back home after spending two weeks with grandpa and me...and I miss them so much!

I'm so happy here with my two sweeties; Cayetana and Victoria, the oldest. Their mother came to fetch them and I miss them so much already!

Our breakfast table with the delicious 'Fool-Proof Homemade Brioche' by sweet April at her great food blog, "Dimples & Delight." I highly recommend you visit her and get fabulous recipes, and this Brioche is delicious!

Here you have it...my Brioche shaped into a loaf, not like April's shaped into a gorgeous braid, with tutorial and all!

The yellow salad plate is from my everyday china, which has mugs to match in yellow in this case. The dishes came in four colors.

Strawberry marmalade at your right.

For our breakfast this morning I used the green salad plate and mug to match as here and the yellow set. The everyday china comes in four lovely colors.

The egg cups were made back at our ceramic factory.

You cannot imagine how delish this piece of bread is!

Here you have it, my homemade bread from great food blog:

Thank you so much sweet and kind friends for your wonderful comments, you always make my day!

Thanking the lovely and gracious hostesses for having me at their parties each week.

LOVE,
FABBY

  12. Oh, look at those pretty ladies!!! Y'all have great genes!

The table is almost as pretty as you and your girls. And one of my favorite things to do when we visit New Orleans is having breakfast at a local coffee shop that serves the strongest coffee with chicory and most delicious brioche. But your brioche looks even better. I might try baking some. Thanks so much for the link!

  22. Dearest Fabby,
LOVE your two grandgirls and yes how tough for letting them go.
But you know, such an intense two-week period with them together makes for special bonding and above all, you left another of your gracious table setting imprints on their minds forever.
What a blessing for having such a grandma as you are to them and so is their grandpa.
LOVE your design of egg cups for your former china factory. The way they get elevated makes for a unique display at the table and I love the colors, also on the plate for the brioche.
Hugs to you and hope your blog problems will leave you too. I had some browser problems too but when our friend did restart it seemed to work again.
Can't tell exactly what he did or didn't do... since I'm illiterate in PC matters!
    Happy Thursday.
    Mariette

The egg cups are especially sweet to look at. Your factory certainly produced some beautiful pottery. I have never tried to make brioche (I am not a good baker) but I will check out the recipe and give it a try. Have a wonderful week Fabby!
