FABBY: St. Patrick's Day Repost Tables

Hello sweet friends!

Although I will make a new table scape to honour the Irish Patron, St. Patrick's; I am reposting some of the tables I shared in the last couple of years.

I grew up in an Irish-Italian neighborhood in Astoria-Queens, so I have St. Patty in my heart and St. Genaro, the Italian Patron as well. They're both Catholic Saints, so of course they're easy to remember since we always went to mass to celebrate these occasions.

Here they are...I hope you like them.

"St. Patrick's Tablescape 2012, plus cloche party at Marty's, A stroll thru Life and other gracious hostesses."
The dishes with a shamrock were made back at our own Ceramic Company, Monte Turi.

I have mentioned before that I designed them, inspired by the indigenous people of Ecuador's beautiful embroidered clothing, or apparel.
The shamrocks are embroidered in the cuffs of the men's shirts,
lol!

Here is the link to that table scape above... just in case you would like to see it all...it was fun, as it was also a combination of a Cloche party at Marty's...A Stroll Thru Life.

This one was an elegant table for St. Pat's 2013, with the Antique Italian tablecloth.
Our shamrock dishes were paired with the reticulated ones.

Thank you for your sweet and kind comments my friends, as you always make my day!

Thanking the gracious hostesses for having me at their great parties each week.

                                                                   FABBY

  4. Dearest Fabby,
What a lovely post for St. Patrick's Day with some real food on the table as well.
Loved the napkins being rolled into a rose, inside the soup bowls.
Also the antique Italian table cloth is such a gem.
The boiled egg slices inside the green soup (spinach?) look magazine worthy too.
I'm exhausted and I'm hoping that tomorrow the issue of our internet being on/off will get resolved by AT&T. I spent some time in a chat 3 days ago but that didn't resolve anything, Today another long phone call with a technician who validated my complaint saying that yes in the past month we got 1,000 times disconnected. Considering that we were gone for 15 days to Europe, that makes it a horror story. Not good for my blood pressure and it's tough for having to copy and paste each comment as it might just vanish otherwise...
    Hugs,
    Mariette
