Thanksgiving Table Spread for 2019

Hello sweet friends !

I specifically created this "Thanksgiving Table Spread" for my blog and if I unite the family some time before we leave for Miami the 25th. of this month of Oct.

Our dear daughter Alexandra will be giving birth to her second baby girl in Miami as her oldest Maxima.  The baby is due the very first days of November. Alexandra is American and thus the reason, although she resides in Madrid with her husband, Maxima and now baby Leonela.

We'll stay in Miami for a month, so I will be cooking Thanksgiving there, just like you all.

With that said, here is my table setting with the 'botanical' pattern Fall china, I'm using it everyday for the Autumn season and was so lucky to find them last year at a cute little store.

Happy October 2019.

I loved this botanical pattern china I bought last year quite by accident... while parking my car in the street I glanced at the small store's window and puff ! There it was this lovely plates, soup bowls and coffee mugs, (not showing here).

Several years ago when I replaced my yellow curtains with 'Hunter Douglas' shades instead, I repurposed the drapes into this pretty yellow moare tablecloth.

Notice something?
(shshsh... no water glasses, sesh)

The dinner plate and the colors and pattern are so pretty, I love it !

Ups !  There's a little squirrel inside the lantern !

The other day I was watching a cake recipe on a Youtube video and saw how the baker had arranged her pretty 'Nordic-Ware' bundt pans and other molds right into her pretty plate rack.

So you can imagine me, been such a 'copycat' that I am, I immediately styled my rack too, with some of my fav bundt pans and ceramic ones and it is also at arms reach... never thought about it before !

Ok, don't laugh, but I forgot to place the water glass in each place, lol..
here they are !

Thank you so much for your kind comments, you always make my day !

Thanking the gracious hostesses for their great parties.

LOVE,
FABBY

  7. Oh Fabby, you truly are fabulous! What a beautiful table.
Hoping all goes well with new baby girl arriving soon. Have a great time with your family in Miami.

I'm off tomorrow in the other direction - across the pond again. This time we'll be back on our favorite small ship - visiting Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Western Sahara and the Cape Verde Islands - should be quite an exciting journey!

Safe travels to you - enjoy each wonderful day, and have fun cuddling that new little one in November.

  12. Such an inviting table! I particularly like your water glasses, an unusual and dramatic color and shape. I've been looking for spiral candles like yours for quite some time but have been unable to locate any. They were quite popular back in the '60s and my mom used them often. Thanks for sharing.
