FABBY: Beach-Theme Tablescape

Hello sweet friend!

The days are nice and warm lately in my neck of the woods, as it was in the early 50's before, in the southern hemisphere, of course. Now it's in the late 70's and very sunny, which I'm loving it!

My 'Beach Theme' tablescape is inspired in our good weather, plus, summer vacation is almost over around here too, since children will start school September the second. I am not ready yet for Fall decor, I will start next month.

I am using this setting for mother in our alabaster breakfast table; as I'll be cooking sea food we all like for today, Wednesday, which is when she comes to spend the day with us. Anyhoo, here is my 'beachy-Andean' setting, lol!

I used my cane chargers with square dinner plates and my fav Multiple Choice fish plates.

At left are my natural shells for 'Coquile St. Jacques' a favorite of Mr. Living.

The centerpiece flowers are done inside the sea-food tureen. The tureen was made at our past 'ceramic Factory,' specially for Fish Escabeche. The natural 'Ecuadorian Spondylus Shell' with shell pedestal at left....it's for the hot sauce.

A little fish bowl salt cellar. I love the enamel sailboat napkin rings I bought several years ago.

White square dinner plate and fish salad, or entree plate.

With a green square plate.

With yellow square plate. All the square plates were also from our past factory.
The Ceviche sherbet with fish, seahorse and sea-scallops hand decorated....from our factory as well.
A close up of the cute sherbets in a sea theme and hand decorated.

The tureen is all hand decorated, as well.

We love beer in these tall glasses with our sea food.

The natural Ecuadorian Spondylus shell' bowl for hot sauce in the back with a shell spoon.

The tureen is hand decorated at our former ceramic company. Here you can see the lid with fish handle.

The beer tall pitcher and tall beer glasses are a set that Alejandro's brothers gave him several years ago for his birthday.

I really like this tall beer pitcher.

The view from my breakfast room window. The Andean mountains in the foreground. The river at right. We are in a 14th. floor Pt. House.

Natural shell for 'Coquille St. Jacques.'

Thank you so much for coming by lovely friends and for the wonderful comments, as you always make my day!

Thank you so much gracious hostesses for your great parties as well.

FABBY

  30. Fabby - It wouldn't be summer unless we put together a beachy table, right? While I tend to go very pale with the beachy palette, like colors that have been washed out by the sun, you went for bolder pastels, like the ones we see in the Caribbean. My sister loved your table! The pilsner glasses are perfect to enjoy an icy-cold cerveza! Enjoy the summer, mi amiga!
