A thousand thanks dear Beverly for helping me out announcing it at Pink Saturday with my first giveaway.
I was inspired to do this tablescape for January with my beautiful German vintage, hand decorated in pink roses, urn; some of you might remember hubby gave me for Mother's Day 2011.
And here you have it... my January 2012 table with my Spanish organza lace tablecloth, I used a pink one underneath it. This urn is vintage German and hand decorated with pretty pink roses.
I used my pink Polish water goblets, paired with my Mil's French wine ones.
I used in this table my cobalt blue chargers because my Mil's antique china has pink and blue flowers in the pattern as you can see it here, on the dinner plate.
The napkin rings I used today are white ones with a blue butterfly on top. They were made by us too. |
A shot from the top so you can appreciate the lace center of the tablecloth. Had I been tall enough you could probably see the four place settings, lol...
I made this tablescape with my Mil's antique china that I love, using my cobalt blue chargers, that were made at our former ceramic co. This two elements are my main inspiration for my first January, pink and blue "regular" tablescape...although I did the one with the Three Kings, but that one was still a Christmas holiday table.
Thank you to the wonderful friends for your lovely, kind and generous comments, I do appreciate them so much, and to the gracious ladies that host such fab and fun parties, too.
Love,
FABBY

Fabby, Breathtaking as usual. I love the tablecloth and the beautiful design. Your cloches were such a lovely gift and you have displayed so tastefully with the figurines. My heart jumped at first sight of the crochet runner. I knew your Mom made it even before I got to that narrative.
ReplyDeleteBlessings sweet friend, Ginger
Fabby,your table setting is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou know I had never heard of chargers before(I live in Australia) until I saw them on one of the bloggers Christmas table.
I searched high and low to find some. I went to every shop I could think of,to no avail. Then on the way home Hubby said we should have one last look in our local K Mart. Low and behold I got 6 gold ones for $2 each.
Strange that they even had them, when noone else had heard of them, even their other stores. Anyway,I am very happy to now have some chargers thanks to my overseas blogger friends. Now all my friends and family want some.
xx jeanetteann
