Winter Woodland Table with Noritake "White Scapes"

Hello sweet friends !

I was waiting a chance to do this 'Woodland Winter' table for Mr. Living's birthday yesterday and he loved it !

I haven't served or made a tablescape with my "Noritake White Scapes" china, rimmed in gold in a very long time. I feel it's kinda formal, but it went so well for this Winter-January spread.

I'm also using it this Wednesday for my Rosary ministry, which it starts the year, this been the last Wednesday of every month.
Please feel free for us to pray for you and yours families. You don't need to tell me the reason, God knows, we will pray with my friends that come regularly every month.

With that said !

My January Winter tablescape was created specially for Mr. Living's birthday.

I chose 'all white' for my Winter Woodland setting... starting from the beautiful Belgium lace tablecloth, hubby bought when our daughter Alexandra was going to do her "First Communion" and since Sofia used it for this purpose too... then our eldest grandgirl Victoria, than her sister Cayetana and my grandniece !

I started with my German crystal chargers, for the 'cold ice look.' "White Scapes, Noritake" china, a small bowl for the entree and teacups and saucers.

In the other side of the table is a lone reindeer 'walking slowly and regaly' lol...

DD Sofie gifted me 12 pretty pearl napkin rings last Mother's Day.

A close up of the reindeers.

I placed this pretty white flowered plant, but I have no idea what it is, as I just borrowed it from my transition from the Christmas decor.

The crystal chargers are German and I love how they add the 'icie' look to the setting. I also bought way before them, bread plates exactly like the chargers, to use with the chinas that didn't
come with bread plates; but since this one does, I didn't need to use them.

The chargers have a basket weave kind of look to them, it specially caught my eye a few years back !

The etched stems are Venetian and they too resemble iced crystal.

After it rained the sky turned that awesome blue down by the window and it was only 6pm.

Thank you dear friends for your kind comments, you always make my day !

Thanking the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties.

LOVE,
FABBY

  10. What a lovely winter table, dear Fabby! I'm sure your husband felt extra special on his birthday. I can't decide which I like better - the German crystal charger or the beautiful white china. Or the etched stemware. They look icy and crisp, just like our weather the last few days. And what's wrong with formal? Especially for a celebration? I think it's an exquisite touch! Here's to more celebrations!

  17. Hi Fabby!

Oh your table is just lovely!! I LOVE the Belgian lace tablecloth (wish I had one) :D. Your Noritake dishes are gorgeous paired with the German crystal chargers, and the Venetian crystal stems are gorgeous, too. That plant caught my eye first thing, and I was hoping you could tell me what it is. LOL This table looks like it was fun to put together, Fabby.

Happy Belated Birthday to your husband and have a wonderful weekend, my friend.
