Three Kings Day Luncheon

Hello sweet friends!

I hosted a luncheon with family in honor of our nephew who lives in NYC and came to spend Christmas with his parents and rest of the family.

I cooked his favorite food and the setting for the table is themed Three Kings Day, as the 6th. of January they're honored in the Christian world. Some countries as Spain, Cuba and the Philippines celebrate with gifts for children and adults, just like we celebrate Christmas Day.

Ok, here is my table, still looking so much like Christmas, lol..

The centerpiece is perfect cause the twig has a big bird's nest and a small one where I place little birds, but to celeb 'Three Kings Day' I placed Baby Jesus surrounded by the Wise men, Balthazar, Gaspar and Melchior.

My mother always told us that the custom in Ecuador is for everyone to start dismantling the house of the Christmas décor after 'Three Kings Day,' or the 7th. of January... a custom she followed every year in the USA as well and so do I now.

The pitcher at your right was hand decorated at our former ceramic Company; Monte Turi.

Again my friends, have a wonderful, happy and blessed new year.

Happy Kings Day to you.

LOVE,
FABBY
