FABBY: I Pledge Allegiance to the USA.

This beautiful flag bow was given to me by my best friend Stephanie, she also lives here and we celebrate 4th. of July together, every year.
This scalloped glass compote with blue, was my mother's gift to me, a while back.
Red, white and blue floating stars.
I made cheese burgers, fries, apple pie for dessert and coffee, for dinner tonight...is these menu Americana, or what?!
Next to the table my French red striped chair...it went perfect, right?!
I used my 30 yr. old flag as tablecloth.  This glass pitcher with the middle band in blue glass diamonds is an antique, it was English, from the 1940's, I bought it years ago at an antique shop.

I was so lucky to find the USA  candles in a candle shop and I had a piece of wood where I put them and the whole thing is ansambled on an antique, church brass candle holder, my mil gave them to us...they're  two.

Love the candle stars!  RED, WHITE AND BLUE FOR EVER!!
The large picture, in the pewter frame, in the background , was taken 12 yrs. ago of us, American girls, Alexandra, Sofia and me.
My Patriotic sweater and flag pin.
The cute striped mugs I bought a while ago for a $1 each.

I did the Patriotic table on my new Italian vintage table, because of the flag, the shape of it looked better on this table.  Bellow, my apple pie.....light and simple, not very heavy...hope so!
Happy 4th. of July to all my compatriots from blog land!!  All the way from Ecuador,... we, my American daughters, Alexandra and Sofia, along with me, wish the greatest country in the world to be God blessed  and safe.  We pledge aligance  to the United States of America and to the Flag....           Thanks to all the wonderful hostesses from the great parties I'll be linking to.  Thank you in advance for your  so nice and generous comments, as I'm always thrilled to hear from you!

FABBY: Sofia's Dishes by Me

Here it is my very fav dishes I made for my daughter Sofia when she got married. The borders are imitating the native men's embroidery cuffs and the women's blouses collars and of course, the roses, everything is embroidered on their apparel.
I love this pretty rooster on the sugar bowl, since it was hand made, every piece was different and so was the decorations.
The oil and vinegar decanters. The napkin rings.  She has lots of serving pieces, tea cups and everything you can imagin, it's very difficult to show in a table setting everything!
She has a set of three of these serving platters, large, med. and small...this one is the medium.  I love it!
The butter dish with the lid... can also be used for cheese.
The entire table with the French wine glasses.  The center piece is Italian, it was a gift from an Italian friend from NY., now she owns it!
The tureen and the dessert bowl.
Little  expresso cups with a small pitcher.
The three pieces I used, the dinner plate and the plate for the onion soup bowl with an onion in the lid.....you can put it in the oven with the soup and bring it directly to the table.
A close up of the hand made onion and the  pitcher.
The beautiful dinner plate...you can see the  work on it, it really looks like the embroidery they do here on the clothing.
 The plates.

I had to take a photo of Sofia's gorgeous, vintage hutch from Holland...I love this piece and the wood  carvings on it!
Victoria's cake in the corner.  She has beautiful ginger jars too, she collects them, European and Oriental, she must have at least a dozen of them, all over the house. Bellow the foot of the hutch.
This china is really my very favorite of the ones I used to design at my husband's ceramic co.  The borders imitate embroidery of the men's cuffs on their shirts and the collars,  of the women's blouses and of course the embroidery of the roses. I made this one when Sofia got married, just for her!  Hope you like this tablescape I did at my daughter Sofia's town- house, now that we where there for Victoria's b'day bash and Father's Day.  Thanks in advance for your lovely visits.               Love, Fabby
