FABBY: Red & Gold Valentine's Table

My Valentine's table scape with gold place-mats, an after C'mas sale for $2.50 each. Noritake dinner plate, Oriental plate with a gold sign...bought a complete set for eight at Bloomingdale's, NY around 1982. The Polish teacups, with gold and birds, were a birthday gift from my daughter, last Oct. 2011.
The natural sea shells for the Coquille St. Jacques. Floating candle hearts on a crystal Bohemian heart dish.
The golden Polish teacup is paired with the gold place mats, gold brass napkin rings and the dishes have gold finials as well. I love red with gold together.
I love this complete set for eight Oriental dishes with a classic Chinese sign, or signal...I always wonder what that meant...does anyone?
This cute Lucite pair of doves kissing, just perfect for lovers day!
The flower vase is an antique Art Nuoveu, it was from my FIL's family. The Chzech-Bohemian heart dish has also raised little heart scrolls in the finial....I know you can't see it cause I placed water with floating candles, but it also has raised birds scrolls kissing in the base of it.
The red stems are from my C'mas stash and are Italian.
The place setting with the natural sea shells for making Coquille de St. Jacques.
Champagne and chocolates anyone?
Happy Valentines to all of you lovely couples and good friends.
I'm joining Tablescape Thursdays at, Between Naps on the Porch.
The kissing lucite doves, are from my C'mas tree ornaments and purposely I left them out from the storage cartons thinking it'll be a great lil' touch for Valentines.
Our breakfast table top is alabaster, a softer marble stone.
HAPPY VALENTINES my sweet friends!  Here is a simple, gold and red, but romantic Valentines table scape for hubby and me. I will make a nice dinner if we don't do anything and my idea for an entree will be Coquille de St. Jacques on a natural sea shells.  Ok, here goes... hope you like it.
Thank you in advance for your wonderful and very appreciated visits.
Thank you lovely and gracious hostesses for having me at your terrific and fun parties!

HAPPY VALENTINES and lots of love to you all.

FABBY: 300 Yr. Old Hacienda Tour 3

The dining room with antique Viennese chairs.
The table is all set for lunch with the dishes that were made at our former ceramic co., as some of you might recognized them by now. For my new friends, my husband owned a ceramic co. up to four years ago and I used to design the patterns of the dishes inspired by the indigenous women's apparels and the men's shirts as they  are embroidered in beautiful vivid colors.  The embroidery varies from the different regions of Ecuador....  I had 14 designs on sale. They were hand made by potters -wheel, like in the movie Ghost, lol... and each piece hand decorated, as well.
A beautiful vintage buffet with red roses arranged on a tin antique pitcher.
The beautiful painting of a valley of another section of here called Paute, was painted by a famous artist uncle they had.  I will post about him one day in the future.  The pretty tray is English vintage too.

A very old hutch with some of my Sil's English transfer ware pink things.
This lovely crystal and gold pitcher is an antique from the 20's, it's also a family heirloom.
The gorgeous pink hydrangeas are from the gardens, I thought it'll look pretty next to the pink heirloom transfer ware.
A small cart with the salad and hot sauce.
They already had this built in original shelves, but my SIL  framed it with an antique carved wood frame,  here she likes display part of the dishes that we made and designed back at our former Ceramic Co.
Hubs shot a pic of me passing by the dishes.
This design came out of the indigenous women's blouses.  Those two little bowls with a chili on it are for the hot sauce.

Before the table was set for dinner, there was this beautiful embroidered tablecloth in brown.

A romantic window taken from the outside and you can see the pink rose arrangement in the blue vase.
An antique table with a pretty arrangement with a couple of great looking ceramic roosters...in the back closed porch.

In the enchanted garden a beautiful gazebo sorrounded by vegetation with an iron table and chairs, just wonderful to have afternoon tea there.
Hi again!  I promised I will show some of the interiors of my Bil and Sil's the 300 yr. old hacienda, as if I ever show you everything there is to see here, in such a big house, there will be too many pictures and it will be very boring, lol.
Thank you for coming to the last tour of my Bil and Sil's beautiful 300 year old, restored hacienda.  You've been wonderful and so generous going to the tour with me, as I just love this enchanted and unique place... this prompted me to want to share it with you all, my terrific blog friends, as I knew you would enjoy it.

Lots of hugs,
FABBY
