A Little Christmas Tea Time

Hello sweet friends !

I had a little tea time yesterday at home because of the delicious cake my friend sent me as a gift. She makes the best cakes, ever, she's a very talented baker and sells them from home to people that order them.

The dishes I used were made at our past Ceramic Co. I found a pretty Christmas design in a cloth and had it copied by hand by our artist decorated.

Wishing you a very happy and blessed Christmas dear friends.

Tea set and cup made back at our former  Ceramic Co., Monte Turi.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a fabulous new year. May God bless you and your families.

Thank you for visiting me, you always make my day !

Thanking the lovely party hostesses as well.

LOVE,
FABBY

Nutcrackers, Kugelkopf and Fruitcake Luncheon Table

Hello sweet friends !

I had so much fun creating this table for a luncheon today. I have a collection of Nutcrackers that started several years ago when my mom gave me an adorable, chubby one with drums for my birthday in Oct., I immediately bought a tall one and then the rest is history.

I also added a German traditional 'Incense Smoker' hubby also gifted me on a birthday many years ago.

I was in the mood for some baking such as a 'German Kugelkopf' bread and a small fruit cake.

The 'German Kugelkopf' recipe came out of the Nordic Ware bundt mold I bought a few years ago.  It is very delish. I usually leave the raisins in Kirsch liquor the day before, or any other nice liquor of choice and I add walnuts too, in order to make it more festive.

Without much ado, here is my fun tablescape for this Christmas holiday.

I been meaning to create a Christmas tablescape with my Nutcracker collection and it's finally done for a luncheon for eight.

It all started with the chubby Nutcracker my dear mom gifted me for my birthday one Oct. several years ago.

Then I bought the tall one at your left and then the others here and there thru the years and now I own 9, plus a German Incense Smoker Alejandro gave me.

The Fruit Cake at your left.

My homemade Fruit cake. I mentioned I was in the mood for baking.

'German Kugelkopf bread' recipe that came from the 'Nordic Ware' bundt pan, but I left the raisins in 'Kirsch liquor' from the day before and add some walnuts as well to make more the bread more festive.

Alejandro warmes his piece of bread and adds butter and marmalade like any other bread and it is great too !

Thank you dear friends for your kind comments, you always make my day !

Thanking the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties.

LOVE,
FABBY

A Golden Table and Decking the Halls

Hello sweet friends !

I created my first Christmas table with mostly gold accents, along with my White Scapes - Noritake gold rimmed china.

The center runner is filled with many things, greenery and golds as well.

I also decked most of the house. I started from the foyer that separates the living room and dining area.

I hope you enjoyed what I did so far.

Happy December, the most beautiful month of the year !

I used my 'White Scapes Noritake' china with gold rims, gold glass chargers and gold flatware, in order to create a mostly gold accented Christmas tablescape.

The napkin ring has gold beads as well.

Cute little red Christmas truck and hubby's fav.

I bought the white turkey tureen at "Pottery Barn" while in Miami recently. We were there for the birth of our new granddaughter Leonela and I used it on daughter Alexandra's Thanksgiving table.

I couldn't part with it till next year and so Alejandro said: Don't we eat turkey come Xmas day ? That's all I needed to hear !

So here is Mr. turkey styled for the Xmas holiday as well, lol..

Nutcrackers and a little manger inside the clotch.

I always look forward to taking out my 'nutcracker collection' as I bought two more from Miami this year.

I decorated my French antique marble table a little.

I'm not the one that over trims either.

The Italian bronze chandy is done up too.

A view from the foyer towards the dining area.

In the back is the living room (not finished yet)

A view from the formal dining room towards the foyer and continues to the living room, which is not finished yet. Next post.

Christmas table, chandy, and buffet in the back, done up for the Holidays.

Thank you dear friends for your gracious comments, you always make my day !

Thanking the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties.

FABBY
