Three Kings Epiphany Table

Hello sweet friends !

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year 2019... and enjoyed family gatherings as my darling Alejandro and I did; along with our three grandgirls and new baby-boy Lorenzo and our two daughters, Alexandra and Sofia and SILs.

This beautiful holiday brings families such joy and fun, to children and grown ups and may the birth of our "Savior Jesus Christ" bring you, your family, the USA, Ecuador and all the countries in the world, more peaceful times. My wish specially is for human beings to get closer and believe in the, Lord our Savior, as it is the only way to the right path of life for the year that's beginning.

"December 6th. is Epiphany or Theophany, "Three Kings Day" and also referred to as "The Wise Men..." Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar--- a Christian feast day that celebrates the revelation of God in His son as human in Jesus Christ who brought gifts to baby Jesus in Bethlehem."

I created a table for four to celebrate this wonderful occasion which sort of ends the Christmas season, along with a delicious 'Kings Day sweet bread' that is a tradition here, as it is in Spain, where children receive their Christmas gifts January 6th., Three Kings Day, to commemorate the gifts they brought for the birth of baby Jesus.

Happy Kings Day Epiphany to all of you !

My Three Kings Day Epiphany table for four.

The Epiphany bread was delicious with a cuppa tea.

My mom will come for lunch so I used my Turkish glass chargers, white Noritake with gold trim dinner plate, a smaller entree Oriental with red and gold plate and the Noritake cup and saucer for tea or coffee with the Kings Day traditional sweet bread.

My little Three Kings figurines and a cute baby Jesus.
On my wish list is to get someday all the Nativity pieces in a 'Lladro' porcelain from Spain.

Very delicious traditional sweet bread for celebrating Epiphany.

Thank you dear friends for your kind comments, you always make my day !

Tablescape Thursday

  1. Very beautiful tablescape. Love it.

  2. Fabby,
Love your Three Kings Epiphany Table!! Many people around here do not take down their Christmas decorations until Epiphany. There is also a large Eastern European population that settled here in the early 1900's and many still celebrate what is called here as Russian Christmas which is on Monday, Jan. 7th. It is also known as Eastern Orthodox Christmas....
Happy New Year to you and your family!!

  3. How sweet your table is!Amazing!Happy 2019!

  4. Hi Fabby- I am so very happy that you were able to spend the holidays with your beloved family. God has blessed you with healthy kids and grandkids! What a blessing.

Your table setting is as beautiful as always. You set such wonderful tables for us to enjoy.

I hope you and your whole family have a bright and blessed 2019. xo Diana

  5. Dearest Fabby,
That is a wonderful Epiphany table setting.
Love the Spanish gift giving tradition for children.
Just like the Dutch who celebrate it on St. Nicholas which is December 5/6 for adults the evening before and children in the morning of his actual Birthday.
That at least leaves Christmas in its pure purpose as being the Lord's birth.
Sending you hugs and wishing you and yours a Happy New Year in good health!

  6. Beautiful table and the lighting just sets a soft romantic mood for your favorite people. Love it!

  7. Fabby,
I adore the Nativity pieces mingled within your centerpiece!
Beautiful dinnerware and chargers of gold!
During our Worship we sang, "We Three Kings".
Also, we had King's Cake after Worship to celebrate Epiphany!
I know your Mother appreciated dining at this lovely tablescape.
    Happy Epiphany Day!

  8. Thanks for finally writing about >"Three Kings Epiphany Table" <Loved it!

  9. Beautiful table as usual Fabby. Everything looks so nice. Hugs Sujatha:)

  10. What a lovely way to end the Christmas season, Fabby. My family's tradition has always been to leave the Christmas decorations up until January 6 (and not start until mid-December). Happy New Year
