Lemons and Apples for a Summer Table

Hello sweet friends!

Here I created a Summer table setting for six with three lemon plates and three apple plates, on top of green dinner plates from my green china.

I had some flowers at home, so I arranged them on a white soup tureen as I also used for the Summer setting white place mats and center doily.

Hope you are all enjoying great Summer weather, BBQ's and sand if you are near a beach, or simply have some "Lazy dazy hazy days of Summer."

I picked my lemon and apple salad plates to pair them with my dinner plates from my green china and mixed and matched the setting for a Summer fresh look.

I had some Astromelias at home so I arranged them on a white soup tureen.
The green stems are from my C'mas stash and the etched crystal water glasses are Czech Bohemian .

I'm still playing with my 'Royal Albert, Old Country Roses,' three tier cake stand and trivet dear Alex and hubby gifted me for Mom's Day while in Madrid.

I arranged the buffet with the 'RA, Lady Carlyle' three tier on the other side of it and my silver teaset in center.

The marmalade bowl, with a soldier is French antique.

Thank you so much dear friends for taking the time to visit and comment, you always make my day !

Thanking the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties.

LOVE,
FABBY

Such a lovely table! You don't see cut-work table linens being used often in blogland, but I have always loved the crisp white underpinning they bring.

  13. Dearest Fabby,
Love the apple and lemon plates and especially in your lovely way of arranging them!
Your Mother's Day gift received while in Spain, did bring back fond memories of my dear Sister-in-law who married Pieter's eldest brother. She too loved 'Royal Albert, Old Country Roses and we often did carry such a piece from England for her as a gift.
Wonder where it all is now as their adopted daughter didn't care for much, other than selling the house in a hurry and travel the world.
    Sending you hugs,
    Mariette
