DIY MacKenzie-Childs Pumpkins

Hello sweet friends !

I'm sorry I've taken so long in showing up, but I've been so extremely busy with the remodel of the guest rooms, bathroom and walking closet.

The moving back to the rooms and clearing the entire living room and family room of things, furniture beds, etc. it's been vary hectic for Alejandro and me and we are exhausted !

Anyway, we are also waiting for the night tables to come 'revamped' from the wood shop we sent them and are not here yet. I also need to make time to go shopping for new bed linens for the two beds, and so much more.

I gave myself some nice and relaxing time to DIY 'two cheap ceramic pumpkins' I had for years and decided to try the Mackenzie Childs new look on them too; plus these were easier then the silver pitcher our friend painted for me, as the shapes of the pumpkins was easier for the job, specially for the striped one.

They did come out pretty cute with some help from Mr. Living too.

Hope you like them as much as I do.

Aren't they so cute; MacKenzie-Childs home made !

I'm so enjoying my sideboard vignette with the black and white, it makes me smile and it makes me forget how pooped I am from all the cleaning and dusting to no end !

The surface was kind of rough and rustic on them, not a smooth one, which enables one to just flow with the paint. But the stripes was pretty easy to do.

I also got inspired from a couple of pumpkins, one in checks and the other in stripes... both on Pinterest again.

My Mackenzie-Childs inspiration pieces all gathered and I'm thinking of making a wooden tray next and I hope that will be all, lol !

I'm really loving the pumpkins !

I decided to incorporate my beloved silver 'fowl cover' hubby gave me for Christmas a few years ago; along with dear daughter Alexandra's gift the gorgeous mercury glass pumpkin.

Ok, here you have it, my M.CH.'s style pumpkins for this Fall.
I think I will use them for my 'Thanksgiving' table setting with my white and gold 'Noritake' china and gold chargers.

Thank you dear friends for your sweet comments, you always make my day !

Thanking the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties.

LOVE,
FABBY
