Hello sweet friends!
This Wednesday I'm hosting the 'Rosary gathering for March.'
I'm using my very old china because it's delicate and has small little blue rose buds and I kept the centerpiece with the cloches, with the cross and birds in nests, as it is the last Wednesday of this month and it fell right after Easter when 'He Has Risen...' and I think it's very appropriate to keep it from my last Easter table.
Yesterday after attending Easter mass, a nun came over to me to offer me the Holy Cross for me to keep it for a week at my home, so my family and me can receive the Lent season's blessings. I am thrilled to have it right at home with me, I feel blessed everyday!
Here is my Rosary setting for tea and simple gathering.
I will be praying with my friends for all of the ones that have required, I will not forget, you know who you are.
Have a blessed week my friends.
Love the lace topper! |
I will serve cheese in the brass pedestal and the glass beehive is for honey. |
Bread will go in the silver basket, as tea serving is very humble. |
Here you can see the small blue rose buds in the china's floral pattern. |
Cheese will be served here too at the other end of the table as well. Along with home made jam and bread. Tea or coffee. |
My Mil's vintage iron cross. |
Very nice lace table cloth, and a lovely setting thanks for sharing. Happy new week with love Janice
ReplyDeleteFabby, I think it would have been cruel of you to have ignored the pleas of that beautiful lace tablecloth, especially when it wanted so badly to come home with you!
ReplyDeleteYour rosary tea table is lovely. I like the idea that the tea is kept simple - the prayer and the setting shine. Thank you - and you know why........
What a beautiful tablecloth! I can see why you HAD to give it a good home! That it is gracing your Rosary Tea Table must have been the purpose of it all along!
ReplyDeleteHi Fabby: What a blessing for you to have the Rosary! Your table looks so pretty. Thank you for your continued prayers for my son. You have been such a blessing to me. Have a great week. Hugs, Martha
ReplyDeleteDear Fabby, Your post is so lovely in every way. The lovely dishes and the cloche centerpiece is perfect. The lace tablecloth is stunning. I totally get why it came home with you. Big smile here. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe blessing of taking the Holy Cross home for a week for your family is so special. What a wonderful Easter for you and your family.
You are a blessing and I am glad you are feeling better.

Thank you for sharing your Rosary Tea with us, dear Fabby. Your table is just beautiful and the lace tablecloth is stunning.
ReplyDeleteAlso, your Easter table was so sweet! I loved how you put the cloches together on the tray. What a pretty idea!
May you have a beautiful week.
Your table is lovely, Fabby. Something I don't have is many tablecloths. Yours is very pretty, by the way! My hubby and boys always made a big deal about them on the table so I never bought any for years. Even now, my hubby doesn't like one on the table and when all my guys are here, I have to undress the table while they're here. *sigh* Oh well, their presence is more important than a tablecloth, isn't it? Your china is beautiful and sets a pretty table. Thank you for sharing and linking up with me.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Fabby, your lace tablecloth was the first thing I noticed! Wow, that is stunning. My mom always had a lot of lace tablecloths. I also just got that gorgeous pitcher on Amazon. I fell in love with it, and it is more stunning in real life! Looks like a wonderful tea! I know, I keep saying I don't need another thing and then I see something and fall in love! This one was worth bringing home!
ReplyDeleteI Know your guests will be impressed...the delicate blooms on the china is so sweet for Spring. The topper is gorge, and I LOVE the arrangement on the sidebar. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteDear Fabby:
ReplyDeleteHere you go again with another fabulous table. Honestly, I think they should do a book with all your table settings. This lace tablecloth sets the backdrop for your beautiful dishes and accessories. I think everything takes our breath away! Lovely and thank you for sharing and linking Fabby!
I love your gorgeous tea table Fabby!

What an elegant table setting! The lace topper is exquisite!
ReplyDeleteAs always this is beautiful Fabby but especially with the new topper. It is a lovely piece. Your MIL's China is so pretty and delicate. Perfect for a ladie's tea.
ReplyDeleteCame over from Becky's and the first thing I noticed was "rest in piece dear Sally" on your side bar. Shouldn't that be "peace"?
ReplyDeleteYour table setting is truly lovely.
In a world not very unique I believe you are a true unique gem. I don't know anyone that puts so much effort in every creation. As many and precious as for a simple tea or an amazing gathering like this one.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many details on it that I can almost feel the praying and blessings sounding and dancing in it.
Thank you for sharing.
All the Love,
Teresa
