Hello sweet friends!
Today the girls decided they wanted me to make tea for a wonderful summer afternoon. Actually, this town is almost all year round like summer weather, almost like in Florida.
The girls just love for me to prepare a tea party for them, as this way they feel very special. Here is Victoria's and Cayetana's afternoon tea party.
The girls felt like dressing up for it.
Yesterday Sunday they jumped at the pool in their pajamas, lol..
Ok, so much for talking and here they are.
Cayetana and Victoria enjoying tea time by the pool in their garden. There's also a beautiful wide and large river in the back. |
Their pretty tea setting for a hot afternoon; in the no less lovely cane and wood Italian round table. |
Little Chloe the Chihuahua is a sweetie too.
Yummy Carrot Cake. |
Some marzipan sweet fruit on an antique transferware tray. |
Of course Chloe the Chihuahua keeps them company. |
Serving tea |
Beautiful reticulated china Sofie has. She has it complete for 14 place settings and for 16 places for a tea party; as she usually has many friends for her birthday, or her hubby's birthday as well. |
The china also has many serving pieces, like bowls and platters, two teapots, two creamers, two sugar bowls and two cake stands. |
Victoria is looking more like a young lady every day, and next Friday will be her 11th. birthday. I will also share her bash with you. |
Little Cayetana is 8 and not too tall. |
Victoria is a tall girl for her age. |
Early last night they had pajamas on but it didn't stop them from jumping into the pool, anyway...heheheheeee |
They are so cute and I love them so much and have such a good time with them too. They are fun and so smart. Very computer and 'smart phone' savvy, although they don't give them either yet, but hey!... they know everything and are always teaching me something new, lol! I can't wait to add one more cutie to the brood from DD Alex. They are growing so fast though. Thank you so much wonderful friends for all the sweet comments you leave me, you always make my day! Thanking the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties. Oh, MY!!! What beautiful granddaughters you have! I enjoyed every single photo!
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful thing when our grands enjoy the pleasures of a tea party! My grand quads will be here to spend the day with us tomorrow and I plan on having a tea party with them. I don't do this every single week as I want to keep it special. Last time when I told them we would have one, Harrison - the only boy - said, "I love tea parties, MeeMaw!" When it was over he said, "GOOD tea party!!! Thank you!!!"
The girls are just beautiful...and such wonderful models. I know they loved their tea by the pool.
ReplyDeletehugs

Hi Fabby! Congratulations on the new little grand to be! This grandmother business is awesome, isn't it? Thanks for popping in to see me.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
What pretty girls and how lucky you are to spend so much time together making memories!
ReplyDeleteHello Fabby, I have been following your blog for several years now...but I usually never comment. While I very-much enjoy your tablescapes my particularly favorite posts are those where you share a glimpse of your family and Ecuadorian culture. LOVED your posts regarding your eldest granddaughter's first communion. We are far-more casual about it here in California and it was lovely seeing this rite from a more formal and serious perspective. Your 'Grands' are adorable young-ladies...my only-son is still in graduate school so I have good while yet before I become a Grammy, but when I do I hope I'll have at least one granddaughter to share tea-parties with:)
ReplyDeleteHello Fabby- how cute is this! The girls are little darlings and both beautiful. The China used for the tea party is elegant. The pool looks wonderfully inviting!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to see your girls being spoiled by their grandma with a wonderful tea party by the pool. With all the trimmings I see! It's nice they still enjoy these things with you as I know they grow up so quickly. Congratulations on the new baby coming.
ReplyDeleteHow very precious, Fabby, to be able to spend time with your darling girls and to be able to prepare a tea party for them! They'll never forget those times with their abuelita. :) Saturday is Baby Love's piano recital, and we're doing a little tea party afterwards at our house, so your post was timely for me, since tea parties are on my mind! Felicidades y carinos para todos, Fabby. ~Zuni
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful girls. Tea is such a fun way to learn manners and the right place to put the silver. I'm afraid we're losing the fufu in our society
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful! What a fun time. They will never forget the tea party and jumping in with their pajamas. This was really, really fun and I am sure they thought so too. They are just perfect models!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful girls and lovely tea! Looks like a fun party!
ReplyDeleteFabby, they are adorable...so beautiful! And your tea party looked wonderful! What a perfect day!
ReplyDeleteHello dearest Fabby! I hope you have been keeping well and enjoying time with your beautiful family. Your grand-daughters are looking so grown up and so very beautiful...nearly as gorgeous as you!
ReplyDeleteI am back from my blogging break and am thrilled to be visiting my favourite bloggers again. I will be back again soon to catch up on your posts.
Take care and best wishes for a wonderful weekend.

ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
What a nice afternoon for them, first a lovely tea party then a nice swim!!
ReplyDeleteFabby, you are so blessed! It's wonderful that you can spend time with your sweet granddaughters. They are blessed, too!
ReplyDeleteFabby, you are having so much fun being a grandmother! I'll bet they think you are the best ever! The tea party by the pool is wonderful. Such lucky girls. Believe it or not, I have a little white Chihuahua that looks just like yours and, guess what? Her name is Chloe too! Her picture is on my sidebar.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend,
Robin

ReplyDeleteYour tea party is absolutely lovely, and your grand daughters both are beautiful; not to mention cute and charming! Living here in AZ, my girls would be jumping in the pool in their pjs too! Looks like they had a really fun time! Thank you for sharing and the cup of tea...oooohhhh, I can not forget the marzipan treats! They were scrumptious!
