FABBY: Tea with a Friend

Hello my sweet friends!

My life has and it's been so busy lately, I can't even answer your kind comments on my last table-post...but I will for sure after this week.

You see, my DD Alexandra is getting engaged this Saturday and it's been a last minute thing, although it was expected. Therefore, we are gathering lots of family, about 70 to help us celeb on a beautiful restaurant.

The other day a good friend of mine announced me a tea in the afternoon visit.
I baked a delish cake and I had tenderloin slices for sandwiches, plus cheese and home made jam she likes.

This is what my simple little tea table looked like.

Now I'm off to prepare food for my DD and her fiancée for the following days, you see, they live in Madrid, Spain. My DD Sofia is also coming from out of town.

Here is my little tea in the afternoon I fixed for me and a good friend who announced me a visit the same day.

Home made jam. The cake is called 'The Best Homemade Pound Cake.'
Recipe is at the end of this post and you can pin it, if you wish.
It's very easy and yummy!

Recipe of yummy cake is at the end of this post if you would like to pin it... as it is from Pinterest.

My tea chest at the back and some white chocolate Bombons.

I love this tea chest a friend made for me several years ago...with a pewter design on top.

We also had tenderloin sandwiches on 'croissants' with cheese.
Sometimes just with homemade jam with the 'croissants only.'

The afternoon was very dark as it rains everyday here because of the Spring season and flowers are blooming and gardens look gorgeous.

...and this is what happened after the rain, the most gorgeous 'rainbows' came out and I could take this pic for you as I was in main street at the time, in the historical part of 'Cuenca, Patrimony of the World.'

Thank you so much my dearest sweet girls, you know you make my day with your kind visits.

Thanking the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties.

LOVE,
FABBY

    Gros bisous
