Hello sweet friends!
Easter is approaching us rather quickly it seems; therefore, I have set a table for six as I believe that's what we will be next Sunday.
I chose to set my Easter table setting, with what is our everyday china, which is a mix and match of colors and that makes it more fun and not boring for our everyday use and specially for Spring because of the pastel colors.
I'm also using a very springy runner and napkins to match; green organza placemats and as centerpiece my wooden tool box, for a change... and last, but not least, an assortment of different color wine stems, paired with green water goblets.
This time I didn't use chargers to sort of keep the table fresh and light...like Spring is.
With that said, here is my Easter table for 2015.
HAPPY EASTER!
The napkins came with the runner, although you didn't have to buy them together and they were both on sale back in January...yeah, yeah, you guessed it! |
The other rabbit from the back and a turquoise wine stem here. |
Since we will be six Easter day, I have this end of the table with enough space to set a teaset and teacups for tea...or coffee, after the luncheon. |
German crystal basket from many years ago. |
The dinner plates are green and yellow, salad plates and wine glasses, are all in various colors too. A pink stem here. |
Purple wine stem with green water glass. |
This is the cutest 'honeybee' container, because it's 'glass' and it has a little birdie on the tip of the lid. |
This mischievous little rabbit looks like she's hiding the carrots from her buddy, lol! |
Here are the color plates sets I used for a Spring-Easter tablescape: Yellow with orange |
Green with green. The sherbets are Italian. |
...and finally, yellow with yellow. Although the fourth color is blue, I didn't use that set cause we will be six for Easter lunch, anyways. |
The boy rabbit just resting in the tool box...so cute. Since my mom gave them to me they simply make me smile.
Vintage iron cross that belonged to my Mil. German crystal basket. |
A high shot where the one end of the table is set with teacups and teaset to match, with butterflies and flowers, perfect for a Spring-Easter table. |
I loved this runner and napkins I bought back in January, they were on sale... along with the green dinner plates...very much on sale, I mean cheap! |
The three bird nests were made by a friend of mine who is very handy and talented...aren't they adorable? |
The tool box is flanked by two small cloches with a nest and birdie inside them. |
The other end of the table with the German crystal basket with Easter eggs. The tall cloche with the vintage iron cross. |
The teapot has roses and butterflies, you can see a couple on this side. The lid has some as well, but on the other side, lol.. |
In the back a white salt and pepper little chick. |
