Hello sweet friends!
As you all know by now that I host a 'Rosary Gathering' prayer with some special ladies, every last Wednesday of each month.
We're about ten, sometimes more and after prayers we have a very simple tea, with bread, cheese, home made jams and sometimes something different cause someone brings it, or I make.
Here is my last Rosary tea party for June.
In June the town of Cuenca celebrates 'Corpus Christy' and all over the town's square there are these delish cookies and are a must have this season. Here I have them in the rectangular platter. |
The pretty pink cyclamen came from my kitchen sill. |
A close up of the Italian-Tognana teacups and saucers...and of the lace tablecloth. Dogs knife rests at right. |
Rustic brown French bread. The squares servings in back are pieces of cheese ready. |
Corpus Christy sweets; the town's custom in June. The two flower platters were made at our former Ceramic factory. |
I'm so glad I remembered this lovely Belgium tablecloth for this tea table. The plain teapot at your right was made at our past ceramic factory. |
Such a lovely table you set today! And all the goodies your have shared. Made me quite hungry just looking at them.
ReplyDeleteyou know how much I'm loving pink right now and this one is so pretty!

ReplyDeleteDearest Fabby,
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely setting with the Belgian Battenberg lace tablecloth.
I also noticed your lovely dessert knives and the cheese knife with its special pointed tip. Such pieces are so typical Old World that it makes my heart sing when I spot them.
Lovely table setting all in all.
Sending you hugs and blessings.
Mariette

You need to open this in Skype and let me pray with you and your lovely friends. I'll even forgo the cookies (it hurts but I'm Christian enough ahahahah).
ReplyDeleteI pray Rosary almost every day. We have a streaming live with Our Lady of Fátima Sanctuary and I pray with "them". No cookies there or at my place :( world needs more Fabiolas! and whenever I listen and pray the Rosay I think of you and this occasions at your place.
You add blessing to the blessing. With your example and thoughtfulness.
Tablecloth - 20 points
The added pink - too lovely. One can imagine how Our Lady loves that in this setting happens this dedication
Dog resters - above and beyond any scale

Teresa

ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful table Fabby! Lovely goodies too!
ReplyDeleteThat's one of the most beautiful, welcoming tables I've ever seen---the simplicity of the bread and cheese, the sweetness of the moment and the sharing and the cookies of the season, and the grace of the prayers and the grasp of a hand with friends in such a setting, such a moment.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely charming, and perfectly arranged, like a sweet time of Communion in heart and soul.
