Hello sweet friends!
I had four yellow rimmed dinner plates and four adorable lemon salad plates, so I thought they'd be perfect for a happy Summer's table scape.
We are going on a three hour drive to visit our daughter Sofia and her family this Wednesday, but specially to celebrate our oldest G'girl Victoria's 10th. birthday!
It seems to Alejandro and me that it wasn't long ago she was a tiny little girl who made us the happiest and proudest grandparents for the first time.
I know it's amazing how time flies, cause look, it's more than the middle of June already, and here I am thinking 2014 is still a new year; my mind works so slowly!
I will be answering your sweet comments again, after a few days, as we will be back home next Monday.
Have a wonderful Summer all of you and enjoy wonderful sunny beach season.
The yellow dinner plates and the citrus salad plates make a very summery and fresh setting, along with the green stems, and colored glasses. |
Butterflies and lemons. |
Here you can appreciate how lovely the alabaster table top is. |
For the centerpiece I used a glass round vase with sea-shells inside and a candle. |
The four mugs are part of my everyday dinnerware. They come in green, yellow, blue and orange thin stripes, as the one here. |
I used these Italian sherbets mostly for a delicious yogurt, coconut and fresh fruit that's mother's recipe for a Summer's dessert... and of course, for 'ceviche' too. |
I love sea-shells for a Summer setting. |
Thank you my dear friends for your sweet and kind comments, as they always make my day! Thanking the gracious hostesses for having me at their great parties. LOVE, FABBY |

Bonjour ma chère Fabby,
ReplyDeleteTout d'abord merci pour ce si gentil commentaire. Je suis heureuse que ma dernière peinture vous touche agréablement.
Une belle note de fraîcheur avec ces tons acidulés. Tout me semble si délicatement accordé. On pourrait se sentir au bord de l'océan pour un agréable dîner.
J'aime le décor de tes magnifiques assiettes avec ces charmants papillons.
Je te souhaite ainsi qu'à ta famille une belle fête d'anniversaire.
Gros bisous ✺ ♡ ✺

What a pretty, pretty table, again, Fabby! You're probably ready to head back from your birthday celebration...I'm sure it was a joyous gathering.
