FABBY: 4th. of July Table & Giveaway

Hello sweet friends!

Oh my goodness, after so much and finally coming back from Victoria's birthday, I had a hectic week! I finally could end up my 4th. of July patriotic table setting!

Most of you who follow me know I'm American too and I so love the good old USA and here is my Red, White and Blue to celebrate it! I am also watching the American team in the Brazilian Soccer WC and rooting for the United States!

I have a giveaway for my three year of blogging that sweet and lovely Kathryn is sponsoring me at her fabulous blog and parties: THE DEDICATED HOUSE..... and I am so happy for getting to know you and always learning so much from you... such talented, generous and wonderful friends in blog land.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE GIVEAWAY:  I will also send the giveaway winner to any place in the world and the only thing I require is that you "follow my blog alone," which by the way, it's all the way at the end of my blog!
Don't follow me anywhere else, as I don't care to have my blog running around.... you can also come and comment about my patriotic table and about the giveaway, I bought for you on my vacation.

I hope you like my giveaway, and it's posted here in my 4th. of July tablescape and they are eight place mats for your Summer tables.
I love you all!

Happy 4th. of July everyone!

Here are four place mats I'm giving away. The winner will receive eight!

Now that I own dinnerware in blue and white transferware I decided to use them for the patriotic table, along with the red ones as well.

The centerpiece is done in a tray, containing the red transferware teacups and teapot, flowers and American flag.

The giveaway are eight of these, 'straw-shawl,' hand made placemats for your summer tables.

I wanted to pass through them ribbons in red and blue, but I've had more then two very hectic weeks! time I will.

I used two of my Historic Colonial Scenes, this Liberty Blue was created for the 'Bicentenial by Enoch Wedgwood of Stafordshire, England.'

And two of the Royal Mail... both English Staffordshire dinner plates.

The red salad plate is 'Old England.'

The napkin rings are enamel ones in red, white and blue.
I ended my place set with a cobalt blue mug for soup in each, which I bought them around 30 years ago in Pottery Barn in NYC, when they had such a tiny store.

I think most 4th. of July settings are very whimsical, right?

I hope you like the placemats. Go to Kathryn at ANYTHING BLUE FRIDAY and MAKE it PRETTY MONDAY to enter my giveaway at:

A close shot of the cute star bread plates I bought in the Dollar Store June 2013 in Miami.

The candle holders in red and blue were made back at our ceramic Factory. They are part of a complete pottery dinnerware.

Thank you so much for entering the giveaway and for following my blog...that's all you have to do! If you have followed me before, thank you so much!

Thanks sweeties for your kind comments, as you always make my day!

Thanking the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties!

HAPPY 4th. of JULY 2014!

  1. Hi Fabby, congrats on 3 years of blogging! Wow what an accomplishment and so glad to be your blog friend! Your tables always look amazing and I love yours for the 4th of July! Wishing you many more wonderful years of blogging. Have a wonderful weekend.

  2. Oh my gosh your table is so festive and pretty! I love all your red, white and blue - just in time for Independence Day here!

Fabby, your placemat giveaway is AWESOME and generous! Please enter me, absolutely!! They are gorgeous and I would be so lucky if I should win them. (Crossing my fingers!) I am a follower. ♥

Thank you - have a wonderful day.

  3. Hi Pinky! You did such a fabulous job on this! Love all the patriotic details. Those star plates are so cute. I like the dishes you chose and the blue mugs. The centerpiece is cute! That's such a nice giveaway you are offering! I'll go over to Kathryn's and check out the offer!

  4. Hello Dear Fabby....Congratulations on three years of blogging! That is wonderful.

Your table setting is absolutely gorgeous. So colorful and bright and cheery. Patriotic, too!

Please put my name into the hat! Thanks you. Susan

  5. I love this fun table for the 4th! I love transferware and yours is perfect!

  6. Fabby, using the red and blue transferware is brilliant! I love it! And congratulations on 3 years of blogging -- wow! I am realizing what a lot of time and dedication blogging takes, so I think 3 years is a real accomplishment! Blessings, Deborah

  7. Congrats on 3 years of great blogging, Fabby.
    Love your festive patriotic!
You have the red stemmed wine glasses I have been looking for! Luminarc France/Arcoroc?
    Have a great weekend.

  8. Fabby, I've always thought that I follow you, but I think that I was wrong. I just tried to find a link to follow you in the margin of your post, but I don't see one. Your Independence Day table is so vibrant and fun! I love the mix of transferware pieces. Thank you for inviting us for a peek. Cherry Kay

  9. Oh, Fabby! I love how patriotic your tabe is. I love everything about it. I am so happy you chose to blog because I love stopping by and getting to know you. Happy 3 years!

  10. Found the follow link. Thanks! Cherry Kay

  11. So pretty, Fabby! I'm inspired! Yes, I'm following you and would love to win your pretty placemats! I love the idea of lacing ribbon through the holes. Also, the plate you're featuring with the building with the clock tower looks just like the courthouse in the town I was born in. They've recently taken down that clock tower to make repairs and they put it back up this past week. It was all over Facebook! Big news in a small town of less than 1,000 people! Anyway, hope you're having a lovely weekend!

  12. Love the table and the red/white/ and blue theme. Keep up the great blogs. Please enter my name in the drawing.

  13. Sorry I said Pinky instead of Fabby! That's what I get for jumping from Facebook over to blogging!

  14. You always design the most amazing tables Fabby, and this one is so pretty too. I love your mix of china and the cute little star plates too. So beautiful.

  15. FABBY,
I like the use of your historic dishes in your 4th of July table. Happy belated birthday to your sweet daughter. Hope you have a good 4th of July.

  16. Love the use of transferware! Truly makes your traditional table sooo very elegant. Congrats on your bloggerversary! :)

  17. Dearest Fabby,
Congrats on your 3 years of blogging and it has been always a pleasure coming here!
Your patriotism shines high at this table and all looks so lovely.
    Wishing you a happy weeekend.

  18. Hi, Fabby! I'm so glad you're rooting for the U.S. in the World Cup! I haven't been watching, but I know our city has gone crazy for it all with lots of parties all around town. We have a very large Latino population here in the Kansas City area, so soccer has been pretty big for years around here. It's just exploded now, though!!!

You've set a wonderful patriotic table to celebrate the 4th! You really went that extra mile with it in every way! I really, really love the red, white & blue enamel napkin rings!!!

You've only been blogging for 3 years? I thought it had been longer. Wow...time sure flies! Great giveaway to celebrate!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend. It's raining cats & dogs here!

  19. Love your table setting everything looks wonderful.

  22. This is such a happy table setting. Your blue and red plates are wonderful treasures. The red wine glasses and little star dishes add a summery sunshine feel. You have such an artistic eye.
The World Cup has been very interesting to watch. I am amazed at the skill shown by some of the teams. These events really do contribute a greater understanding of people across the world. I will think of you in your house as I in my house watch the games.
