Hello dear laddies!
Ok, so for sweet Irish cheeks Kathleen's challenge party at Let's Dish, her great meme to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, the patron of Ireland, I decided I am Irish until the real day, lol.. I think we should all be for St. Pat's Day every year, right?
I am exhausted from making a baby shower for a good friend's DD and baking the cake and everything else. Thank goodness it was at my Sil's house!
I will be a little late answering you my sweet, sweet friends, as my grandgirls are here and they are going back home Friday, therefore, I will be having lots of time in my hands to start commenting and visiting on all the fabulous posts you share!
Lots of great wishes for St. Patrick's Day and may all of you 'real Irish ladies' and your families enjoy this very special and traditional day.
Viva St. Patrick's Day! |
Here is my table scape with lots of greens! |
Here are my dishes with shamrock borders and flowers; made back at our ceramic company, Monte Turi. |
The place set with the salad plates with shamrocks as well. I used the clear sherbets so the pattern of the plates are more visible. |
The dinner plate on top of a green charger with a shamrocks border. |
The sherbets for dessert in the antique American made nesting tables that belonged to my Mil. |
More shamrocks in the sherbets and a little green cloche I found by chance the other day. |
A close up of the tea setting. |
Actually, I love Baileys with my coffee, always did! I think I'll make me one now..hehehe.. |
I hope I made all your Irish eyes smile today. |
Thank you so much lovely Irish friends and like I said before we all are Irish in this party at Kathleen's to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Your sweet and kind comments always make my day! Thank you so much Kathleen for this great challenge at "Let's Dish, Cuisine Kathleen." Hope to see you all there tonight!
