FABBY: Kiss Me, I'm Irish, LOL!

Spring Thing
Hello dear laddies!

Ok,  so for sweet Irish cheeks Kathleen's challenge party at Let's Dish, her great meme to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, the patron of Ireland, I decided I am Irish until the real day, lol.. I think we should all be for St. Pat's Day every year, right?

I am exhausted from making a baby shower for a good friend's DD and baking the cake and everything else. Thank goodness it was at my Sil's house!

I will be a little late answering you my sweet, sweet friends, as my grandgirls are here and they are going back home Friday, therefore, I will be having lots of time in my hands to start commenting and visiting on all the fabulous posts you share!

Lots of great wishes for St. Patrick's Day and may all of you 'real Irish ladies' and your families enjoy this very special and traditional day.

Viva St. Patrick's Day!

Here is my table scape with lots of greens!

I started with a place mat hand woven in Ecuador that has shamrocks embroidered and I don't know why, but Indigenous people of this region seem to have shamrocks embroidered in their apparel too, that's where my inspiration for this pattern came from.
The flatware is Argent-Sophia in ivory which blends so well with the placemats.

Here are my dishes with shamrock borders and flowers; made back at our ceramic company, Monte Turi.

The place set with the salad plates with shamrocks as well. I used the clear sherbets so the pattern of the plates are more visible.

The dinner plate on top of a green charger with a shamrocks border.

I thought the place mats were perfect for this table, I just realized it while looking for the linen to make this setting.
The natural stone in the table is 'alabaster,' a quarried stone, which is also soft, translucent and lovely and it's from Ecuador.

The sherbets for dessert in the antique American made nesting tables that belonged to my Mil.

More shamrocks in the sherbets and a little green cloche I found by chance the other day.

A close up of the tea setting.

Actually, I love Baileys with my coffee, always did! I think I'll make me one now..hehehe..

I hope I made all your Irish eyes smile today.

Thank you so much lovely Irish friends and like I said before we all are Irish in this party at Kathleen's to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Your sweet and kind comments always make my day!

Thank you so much Kathleen for this great challenge at "Let's Dish, Cuisine Kathleen."

Hope to see you all there tonight!

LOVE,
FABBY

  36. Hi Fabby,

I participated in Kathleen's Blog Crawl this year, but I didn't get around to visiting everyone I wanted to visit that night, so here I am. :-D I adore your shamrock plates and other dishes made in your ceramics company. How fun that other countries besides Ireland love the shamrock.

I love those antique nesting tables; you have so many wonderful family heirlooms. I also love the light fixture over your table -- gorgeous! Your table is pretty and fun, and I love the title of your post, lol. :) Stop by and see me if you get a chance; I finally did a St. Pat's tablescape.

    Warm hugs to you,
