I paired the egg cups and the other dishes in green and white made at our former Ceramic Co. and the design was the original decoration Spaniards first made 200 years ago, which inspired me to design this dishes...with some reticulated, or lace like dishes from my complete set of twelve.
The tea set, which in this case it will be for coffee. There's a roos on the teapot as this is how Spaniards made them in the colonies era. For some new friends I also designed 13 more sets of dishes inspired on the indigenous women's of Ecuador beautiful embroidered attire, skirts, blouses and shawls.
The reticulated dinner plate with the green and white salad plate. The small bowl is for the fruit salad., sometimes we like it with some yogurt on top and walnuts.
A shot up high. The table topper is a cotton plaid I have for many years, I used it on this table as the colours are so cheerful.
The egg cup with the layers of plates. The napkin rings also have a bird and the other a roos. |
Our breakfast round table is right next to the formal dining area, this way we can use it when we have more guests for a luncheon, or a dinner party. I've had 16 and more even. |
You can see the decoration better in the teapot close up and also in part of the cup with coffee. The rooster is also molded by hand. |
Here is the place set for our breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning. The charger, the plate for cheeses, ham, marmalade, the egg cup, the small fruit bowl, coffee cup and apple juice. |
Thank you for visiting us and for the lovely and kind comments you always leave me. Thank you to the gracious hostesses for having me every week at your terrific parties, that I usually can't wait to join!

Happiest of Anniversaries to you both! The table is as "Fab" as YOU are...The colors are so cheerful; the layers rich & wonderful; the china from your Co. is lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour menu is tempting, too! I'm not a big breakfast eater, so this sounds like a lovely mid-morning brunch to me.
What a beautiful breakfast table for such a special day. Congratulations on your anniversary.
ReplyDeleteNot only do I have a passion for dinnerware, I also majored in pottery in school. I find your designs from your company, and your stories fascinating.
Fabby, what a pretty setting! You always have the most gorgeous dishes to choose from!! Happy 37th Anniversary to you!!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely china! I wish you still had your company so I could buy things from you. I love the little rooster on the teapot and napkin rings - just the right touch of whimsy. I love this breakfast table, and your menu sounds just right, too. Happy anniversary!
ReplyDeleteWell, Fabby, you have shown us some beautiful, exquisite, and wonderful china through the months, and it was all so gorgeous, but I believe this set of dishes you made is one of my favorite!! The colors of lime green and white are lovely together, as are the flowers on the china, and that rooster on the lid of the teapot is charming...I spied them on the napkin rings also! I love the egg cups, too!!!
ReplyDeleteI guess I am so "taken" with the china because I am trying to pull some of the PINK out of several of the main rooms in my house, and go with lime green, white, yellow and touches of turquoise, so when I saw your dishes I was really drawn to how pretty they are, and thought
if Fabby has these colors, then I must be on the right track!!
Congratulations on your 37th wedding anniversary!!! I am sure your hubby will enjoy breakfast at the charming table you have set for the two of you. And the menu sounds delicious!!
I enjoy your posts so much. You always have such great ideas for setting the table and your accessories and china are always beautiful...thank you for sharing with us today and enjoy your anniversary!!!
