FABBY: Anniversary Breakfast Table

My inspiration for this breakfast table is our Anniversary of 37 years of a very happy marriage with my wonderful husband. We were married in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 25th., 1975. Since we love special weekend breakfasts and our Anniversary is tomorrow Saturday, Feb. 25th., I decided to set a special table for us.  Hope you like my first breakfast table.

I paired the egg cups and the other dishes in green and white made at our former Ceramic Co. and the design was the original decoration Spaniards first made 200 years ago, which inspired me to design this dishes...with some reticulated, or lace like dishes from my complete set of twelve.
The tea set, which in this case it will be for coffee. There's a roos on the teapot as this is how Spaniards made them in the colonies era.  For some new friends I also designed 13 more sets of dishes inspired on the indigenous women's of Ecuador beautiful embroidered attire, skirts, blouses and shawls.
The reticulated dinner plate with the green and white salad plate. The small bowl is for the fruit salad., sometimes we like it with some yogurt on top and walnuts.
A shot up high. The table topper is a cotton plaid I have for many years, I used it on this table as the colours are so cheerful.
The egg cup  with the layers of plates. The napkin rings also have a bird and the other a roos.
The plate with a single flower and cloche lid is for the cheese. The crystal vase in the centerpiece is Polish and I use it a lot C'mas time.
Our breakfast round table is right next to the formal dining area, this way we can use it when we have  more guests for a luncheon, or a dinner party. I've had 16 and more even.
The chairs in the breakfast table are vintage Dutch.

You can see the decoration better in the teapot close up and also in part of the cup with coffee. The rooster is also molded by hand.

Here is the place set for our breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning. The charger, the plate for cheeses, ham, marmalade, the egg cup, the small fruit bowl, coffee cup and apple juice.
I've never made a breakfast table before, so this would be our special breakfast for our 37th. Wedding Anniversary and realized we love to have a special breakfasts on the weekends, Saturday and Sunday mornings, with apple juice, ham, jam, bread, eggs and fruit salad.  This  breakfast table is set with cute egg cups and other dishes in green and white that were made at our Past Ceramic Co. and I paired them with some reticulated dishes from my set of twelve.   So here you have it...our 36th. Anniversary Breakfast Bable.

Thank you for visiting us and for the lovely and kind comments you always leave me. Thank you to the gracious hostesses for having me every week at your terrific parties, that I usually can't wait to join!

Happiest of Anniversaries to you both! The table is as "Fab" as YOU are...The colors are so cheerful; the layers rich & wonderful; the china from your Co. is lovely.

Your menu is tempting, too! I'm not a big breakfast eater, so this sounds like a lovely mid-morning brunch to me.

What a beautiful breakfast table for such a special day. Congratulations on your anniversary.

Not only do I have a passion for dinnerware, I also majored in pottery in school. I find your designs from your company, and your stories fascinating.

Such lovely china! I wish you still had your company so I could buy things from you. I love the little rooster on the teapot and napkin rings - just the right touch of whimsy. I love this breakfast table, and your menu sounds just right, too. Happy anniversary!

Well, Fabby, you have shown us some beautiful, exquisite, and wonderful china through the months, and it was all so gorgeous, but I believe this set of dishes you made is one of my favorite!! The colors of lime green and white are lovely together, as are the flowers on the china, and that rooster on the lid of the teapot is charming...I spied them on the napkin rings also! I love the egg cups, too!!!
I guess I am so "taken" with the china because I am trying to pull some of the PINK out of several of the main rooms in my house, and go with lime green, white, yellow and touches of turquoise, so when I saw your dishes I was really drawn to how pretty they are, and thought
if Fabby has these colors, then I must be on the right track!!
Congratulations on your 37th wedding anniversary!!! I am sure your hubby will enjoy breakfast at the charming table you have set for the two of you. And the menu sounds delicious!!
I enjoy your posts so much. You always have such great ideas for setting the table and your accessories and china are always beautiful...thank you for sharing with us today and enjoy your anniversary!!!
Hugs, Francy

How PRETTY, Fabby!! My heart skipped a beat when I saw those reticulated dishes ...WOW!
These dishes would work beautifully for St. Patrick's Day, too. I am blown away to think that you DESIGNED them yourself.

Happy Anniversary & may you be blessed with many, many more HEALTHY years together.

Happy 37th Anniversary to you and your husband, Fabby! May the good Lord bless you with many more years to come! And what a beautiful breakfast table. I'm glad you told me to come over and see this post because you KNOW how I love to see your dishware from your ceramic factory when you had it. It's FABULOUS! Everything is so pretty. And the REST of your room looks wonderful too, of course. And hey...I definitely like that 'cocktail cart' that I spied in the background! (Am I the only one who noticed that? LOL!) You are lucky I am not next door, I'd be over in a minute. :)
Again, best wishes and congrats on your Anniversary, dear Fabby.
Best and LOVE,
