Christmas Dining Room and Breakfast Area

 Hello sweet friends !

I hope you all had a wonderful, happy and safe 'Day of Thanks.'

Like I said in my last tour of the social area, I don't go crazy with the Christmas decor as to transform my house or anything of the sort.

Here is what I do and of course, the flocked Xmas tree is the 'king' of the Christmas season.

With that said... have fun decorating and enjoying the beautiful "Christmas Season, awaiting the birth of Baby Jesus."

                                     The formal dining table.

It's so nice to sit at this side and have a view of the tree !

The side table at the Breakfast table, which is flanked by two side buffets.

The breakfast round table is set for four.

Our last luncheon for our children Alexandra, Sergio, before they left for Madrid, along with their two little girls, last Monday.

The door with the red wreath leads to the kitchen, which will be the next and last tour.

The larger side table or buffet.

This pretty tea set was hand decorated back at our 'Ceramic Company.'

Yesterday, Sunday 29 of November, we, Christians are observing the "First Day of Advent."

The candles and 'St. Patrick's Cathedral' was lighted so it looked pretty.

The two teapots and plant pot, were also decorated at our former Ceramic Factory.

As some friends know, hubby and I live in a P.H. apartment since we downsized from our farm, some more than 20 years ago and at the beginning we kept it as a weekend place.

So here is the entrance, where I always welcome you to come by and visit.

Thank you for your sweet comments, you always make my day !

Thanking the gracious hostesses for their inspiring parties.

                                                LOVE,

  3. Dearest Fabby,
What a warm entrance hall you have, looks a bit like the paneled solid oak doors I had in my former home in The Netherlands... Brought back fond memories.
Your entire home is emitting the wonderful season of Advent, leading into Christmas.
It kind of struck me, that table for four setting; now they're gone. I know that feeling too well and I also have to admit that it took me each time around one week to emotionally be in my routine again. It is so hard for leave loved ones or to see them leave us...
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  5. Sweet friend, Blessed Advent Season to you, too, Fabby.

I think you've decorated your home beautifully for the season - wow!

Your flocked tree steals the show - what a wonderful view of it as you may be sitting at the table sipping a nice hot cup of tea. ♥

I would LOVE to be able to walk through your pretty door and sit with you a while and visit. We can do that in our dreams perfectly, can we not?

Stay safe, stay well, stay hopeful...

    Hugs.

  7. Fabby, your home is beautifully decorated. I love how you can see your tree from your dining room. I would sit and gaze at the tree the entire dinner. I also noticed the gorgeous platter displayed on one of the buffets, a lovely scene to enjoy. I think the tea set has a gorgeous pattern to enjoy for the holidays. You do have so many extraordinary pieces I've enjoyed seeing over the years. Happy December, enjoy this wonderful season.......

  10. Hello, Fabby! I saw you stop by my blog and it instantly put the biggest smile on my face! I've missed you, my friend, and it's no one's fault but mine that I've gone missing. I've been working from home because of Covid, but I've been as busy as ever. Now, I'm so glad I stopped by! Your house looks utterly beautiful! Of course, just your gorgeous roses would have been enough for me, but then everything else is just so beautifully put together. I haven't even started decorating for the holidays yet, but we did pick up our Christmas tree yesterday. It's sitting in its base, drinking water and getting acclimated to the room. We will probably decorate it today. As always, you've provided the inspiration I needed. Cuídate, mi amiga querida. ¡Muchos abrazos!
