Hello sweet friends !
Well, here we are in September walking into Fall... very amazing how the months seem to slip from under us.
I hope you had a lovely "Labor Day" as well. I remember right after LD we children went back to school in Sept.
I love Fall even though we don't have four seasons as in the USA, but just the same, weather here is like Autumn, very crispy and cool, so I can start decorating a little for the season, starting from the easiest pieces, my buffets.
Welcome September dear friends and may you have a wonderful month and may you receive many blessings.
Cloches with mercury pumpkins. |
Got out my antique pewter Dutch tea set with tray to sort of pair my silver fowl cover. |
Some transferware plates under glass too. |
Gros bisous 🌸
Beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI love September and have the most gorgeous pumpkins.
joyously,
Betty
So very pretty Fabby - those mercury pumpkins sitting on blue and white transferware look beautiful for early Autumn.

ReplyDeleteDearest Fabby,
ReplyDeleteWow, indeed we are heading into fall... slowly as it still is 30+degree C here.
We biked this morning and it still is hot.
LOVE your mercury glass pumpkins, you always manage to find the most exceptional things for yet another setting.
And of course you make me happy by showing again your lovely Dutch pewter tea set!
Enjoy the little cooler evenings and wishing you well.
Hugs,
Mariette
Fabby, I love mercury glass so the pumpkins are my favorite. Have a great week. Sylvia D.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I have got to get myself a cloche! They look fabulous on your side board with mercury pumpkins underneath them. I have saved a couple of domes from old cheese boards, perhaps I can use one of those. LOL!
ReplyDeleteFabby, what a beautiful display with the transferware and pumpkins under the cloches!
ReplyDeleteLove, love the mercury glass pumpkins cozying up to the silver and pewter pieces! I never thought about cloches before, but now........hmmmm. Enjoy your fall-ish September. It's still hot here.

ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely setting!
ReplyDeleteThank you Fabby for your visit. All is well here as I am little busy with social activities. Like helping underprivileged children in schools. Such a pretty side board setting. One cannot expect less from your decor creativity. Hugs Sujatha.
