August Rosary and Buffet Vignettes

Hello sweet friends !

I hope all is well with you, I haven't been around for a few weeks, but I have Hosted my monthly Rosary prayers one week earlier today and I spread my table with the set of china from our past Ceramic Co. that Mr. Living owned.

I decided on hosting a "Baby Shower" for our daughter Sofia taking advantage that our daughter Alexandra and fam. is coming to stay with us for a vacay all the way from Madrid.

I will post the Shower next week.

In the meantime I revamp my breakfast area's buffets to make a slow transition from Summer to Fall.

With that said, here goes.

Here I gathered all my white tureens, teapots and other dishes for a change, to start my transition to Fall.
Some of you might remember I forever switched my silver and sterling collection here, along with blue and white ginger jars, etc.

There's always something magical about all-white.

Here, in the other buffet, along with my two cloches I displayed my silver 'fowl cover,' ready to be set for Thanksgiving... I know, I know, it sounds far away, but nothing is a long time now, as time flies away and we are after all in the middle of August, amazing !

My lovely (love it !) silver meat cover was a gift for Christmas from hubby several years ago.

August Rosary tea tablescape.
I used here my china tea set from my set of dinnerware for twelve places, which was hand made and hand decorated at our former Ceramic Co.

The crochet table topper was hubby's grandmother's, as well as the embroidered little tea napkins.

The decoration are hand made and are carnations.
This china is Alejandro's favorite, so I always refer to it as, "hubby's china."

Thank you dear friends for your sweet comments, you always make my day !

Thanking you lovely hostesses for having me at your great parties.

LOVE,
FABBY

  2. I love that you host a rosary tea each month. Please pray for my daughter, Summer. You have prayed for her in the past and I am so grateful. She has lost her health, her career, her possessions.

  10. Such stunning china. Never saw any handmade. Breathtaking. I would be afraid to use it as a piece might get broken. The little stand in your first photo where it appears a little blue boy is on the top, caught my eye. Thank you for taking the time to stop by my humble dwellings. Also, really got excited when I saw the image of my blog on yours. I am honored.

  11. I did a comment, but guess I hit something and deleted it. I am no pro. Never saw that many dishes handmade. So gorgeous and I would be scared to use them. You are blessed having so many lovely things to share. The little stand on the end of where your lovely whites are displayed caught my eye. Appears a figurine on top. You are blessed to have so many gorgeous things to share. I am truly honored you have my blog listed on your sidebar. A real treat for me. Thank you for visiting and allowing us to enjoy part of your treasures.

  14. I always love looking at your tablescapes, and all of the wonderful pieces that you own. I particularly like your collection of white dishes. I have very few white dishes, but I think that I need to remedy that. I love the way they look all clustered together. Imagine how pretty they would look surrounded by greenery and red holly berries for Christmas. Or, maybe you were already thinking that way. Have a wonderful weekend.
