Hello sweet friends !
Well, tomorrow, is 5 de Mayo, the celebration of the Mexico's Victory against the French, known as the battle of Puebla.
Some places in the USA this is a happy occasion which they celebrate.
This is my creation, mostly with Ecuadorian things as the 'Macana-Ikat' table topper and some ceramic pieces from our past Ceramic-Co.
Ok, that's it.

| The 'Ikat' tablecloth is in center stage, as it sort of magically makes it look like a Mexican table, although it's hand woven and color died in Ecuador. |

| To create this table setting for the 5 de Mayo I used my everyday china on top of a hand made daisy place mat. |

| The napkin ring in the form of a chicken and roosters were made back at our Ceramic Co. |
 |
| The lovely gold paper rose I used as centerpiece for this table is made by my dear SIL. |
 |
| The ceramic pieces were made at hubby's former Ceramic Co. |
 |

| I love the pretty Tequila bottle is "Añejo PATRON" ( tequila made of 100% Agave ) and hubby says it's the best Tequila brand ever. I personally find Tequila to strong for my taste. |

That is already past too... time is going so fast and it is good.
I still have till June 12 to go on 1 crutch in order to slowly let my 2 pelvic bones heal. They are broken but a closed fracture!
That's the result of getting killer cramps in the lower leg in bed early morning; jumping out and falling on your hip.
Could have been worse and Tuesday it is already 6 weeks so I'm making progress. Meanwhile I started doing the mega task of scanning all our old letters/cards. I've had them all bagged up per year but this time I wanted to do it and than trash them after Pieter can enjoy reading once more his dear Mother's and his two brothers' letters and more.
Today I've tackled 25% of all the years I need to do so finally I visit some blogs and than back to work!

Fabby, your table is indeed colorful and so pretty. Love the settings and that centerpiece. The tequila bottle is lovely. I can't drink straight tequila anymore. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful table at Dishing It & Digging It.
