Hello sweet friends!
"Christ the Lord is risen to-day,"
Sons of men and angels say.
Raise your joys and triumphs high;
Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply. (Charles Wesley)
"HAPPY AND BLESSED EASTER TO ALL OF YOU AND YOURS" |
I created this new vignette on my antique English buffet for the Easter season. 'Blue Danube' platter standing in the backdrop. |

ReplyDeleteDearest Fabby,
ReplyDeleteLovely post about the TRUE EASTER!
Your display is so pretty with the cross and the bunnies, all on a lovely crocheted runner with roses...
You are probably so right about your humble review. WHY do they do things like that?
Wishing you a happy 2nd Easter day; provided it is being observed in South America as such. In Europe they do but not in the USA.
We had a lovely Easter day. Mass with reception and than the usual phone call with Mom & Dad and we did chat with daughter Liz in Rotterdam.
Hugs,
Mariette
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you and to your family dear Fabby.I missed you too.Happy to be back.As i said earlier i was in processes of launching my Crystal grandeur label and that's the reason for my absence.Everything went on well with the launch and with all of your encouragements and well wishes.Thank you.All your posts are beautiful as ever and i love them all.Hope you had a great day with family and friends.Love...Sujatha...:):)
A great serie of photos for the blue theme! Happy Easter to you!
ReplyDeleteLovely blues on the china!
ReplyDeleteLovely post. I really like the bluebird on the cup!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to the most beautiful heart/Bloggie friend I ever have.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great one with your lovelies.
I had a quiet one as the kiddos are not around. A quiet dinner with my cousins with no kiddos felt weird. But we had realized that they have their own lives now with their lovelies too.
Happy Easter, Fabby.
Besitos,
/CC girl
Morning Fabby,
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful blues. I love your new arrangement.
I do not like Russell Crowe and so I will not go see Noah. I've heard the movie does not follow the Bible. No wonder you didn't like it.
Have a Happy Blue Monday!
Wonderful series of blue stuffs.
ReplyDeleteThe Noah movie wasn't allowed in my country.
I want to see Son of God sooo badly!!! I know it's a great movie. The little Polish teacups are too sweet. Everything looks gorgeous! LOVE the blues and whites.
ReplyDeleteHi Fabby,
ReplyDeleteYour tea tray is just lovely and I love the bird teacups.
I have heard a lot of negatives about the Noah movie. It certainly wasn't portrayed properly as in the Bible.
Thank you for sharing and coming to tea. Have a lovely week, my friend.
Blessings,
Sandi
I love the way you set up your tray and the blue and white. It is very beautiful. Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter. I am sure it was a very pleasant one! I love that very special tea cup with the bird!
ReplyDeleteOh I love that blue and white platter and your Easter vignette. Pretty as always ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Joy at Books and Life
Your Easter display is nice Fabby. I've heard that Noah was not that good, glad we didn't spend money to go and see it.
ReplyDeleteThe actor playinf Jesus in The Son of God is Portuguese. Did you know? Another conection we share though I still didn't watch the movie... I can't neither "judge" Noah but what you say joins every critic I've read so far... in fact for about 2 seconds I was a bit angry to the portrait of Noah as, in some way, gives fuel to the Anti-Christian but this is the Season for Forgiveness and Peace, so it lasted those 2 seconds ahahah
ReplyDeleteStopped by to wish you Happy Easter and hope that like in Emaus Our Lord stops by your home and leave Many Blessings to you, your lovely family and all those who love you.
Yours,
Teresa
Fabby, hope you had a wonderful Easter! I do not want to go see Noah; I always get upset when I see the Bible being portrayed inaccurately. The director is an atheist, so I guess it's no surprise. (did you get the package yet?)

ReplyDeleteDear Fabby, Thank you so much for coming by and leaving such a kind comment. I always enjoy meeting new people and finding new blogs :0)
Your home is quite beautiful!
Have a wonderful week,
Suzanne
Beautiful as always Fabby. Love blue and white. Your side table is stunning.
ReplyDeleteFabby, thank you very much for the lovely blue display on your buffet. And you made my heart sing by mentioning the movie, "Noah" as my husband and I had spoken out against it on FB after my childhood friend had posted how awful it was. I wish Hollywood would stick to the truth about The Bible.
ReplyDeleteMy comments are more of the same Fabby - just FABBY FABULOUS!
ReplyDeleteFabby, thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a sweet note. I adore your cup with the cute little bird! It really puts you in the mood for Spring. And that cute Lladro rabbit is wonderful! I'd never seen it before! Happy Easter, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Fabby,
ReplyDeleteWhat a loving Easter post. Your home looks beautiful in it's celebration of the holiday. I have not seen either movie yet. Thank you for the personal reviews.
Hugs,
Terri
Oh how I love your birdie tea cup!
Beautiful post. Visiting you from the scoop. Thank you for your review of both films; your setting is lovely!
ReplyDeleteHi Beautiful Lady, your pics are gorgeous and always so inspiring.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you enjoyed a wonderful Easter. We did as well and thank you for stopping by and your kind comment.
Happy Spring and many blessings to you and your family.
Hugs
You confirmed my thoughts on not going to see Noah! Thanks! I love your pewter against the blue and your Easter table is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos and sentiments Fabby. I hope you a wonderful Easter.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Janet
Fabby,
ReplyDeleteI am WAY behind, dear friend!!!
We begin with a sunrise service and then i sing in a combined Choir for two Traditional Services on Easter!
Our son and daughter~in~law ate a late Traditional Easter dinner with us!!!
Hoping your Easter was blessed!!!
We sang an arrangement of the song at the top of your post!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Hi Fabby: For some reason, I can't see the pictures. I hope you too had a wonderful Easter. Blessings, Martha

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely vignette!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you! LOVE the blue and white and the bird on the teacups! I do appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,
ReplyDeleteKathy
He is risen indeed! I too did an Easter post that included a clip from the movie, "The Passion of Christ," starring Mel Gibson. It is a brutal and graphic movie, but so accurate to what Jesus went through. I too cried. Praise God for what he did for us!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this at What We Accomplished Wednesdays! Have a super week!
Blessings, Deborah
Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post Fabby! Thanks so much for sharing at Amaze Me Monday...
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

Beautiful Easter table Fabby. I love the teacups with the birds and the blue and white is so pretty! I have heard that same thing about 'Noah'. I want to see "The Son of God". Thanks for sharing with SYC.
