FABBY: A Spring Table for my Friends

Hello my sweet friends!

I'm dedicating my first Spring Table scape for all of you, dear bloggie friends, who are still in a Winter Wonderland. I've seen some stunning images you have taken of your homes and towns, all white and serene. I miss snow sometimes, been from NY and specially come Christmas time, I long for a White Christmas. Around here, in Ecuador, there are huge Andean mountains with perennial snow on their tops and many years ago we went up one that is very tall and there was lots of the white stuff. Hope you like my table in "your honor," my bloggie friends..as where we live, it's always spring time, sometimes colder and sometimes warmer, a very comfortable weather, if you will. Hope you like it!

I started this Spring table setting thinking in pink and green, therefore, I used my old china from way back from 1977, twelve place settings, Naomi Rose-Anchor Hacking. Mainly because it has a big pink flower with green leaves, very seventies.

The candle holder is in bisque-porcelain in a rose shape, was made back at our former Ceramic Co. The pink Polish sherbets.

The teapot, creamer and sugar bowl, which looks very springy, with roses and butterflies.

Green goblets, bought on sale after Christmas.. with pink Polish water glasses and sherbets.
My new gift from hubby..a vintage French Opaline flower vase, with pink and yellow flowers, green leaves and butterflies.. just perfect for spring too.

A shot from above.

I used two napkins, the one in green and the other hand embroidered with pale pinks and greens, from my Mil and a butterfly pink ceramic napkin ring, made by us.

This is the best way I could photograph the charger without that awful glare. The charger doily was crocheted by mother...they are used so not to scratch the charger with the dinner plates. The ones that have followed me know I got this great green chargers from an after Christmas sale.

I love the design in the dinner plate, of my almost first china from 1977, as I have one in storage from the year we got married, from 1975.

With the salad plate. I didn't use the soup bowls, as I rather have the pink sherbets on top of the salad plate. The tea cups at your right are in gray with pink.

The flowers in pink and yellow; they blend nicely with the check table topper.

I always loved this small lug with a yellow rose and a dove...which was also hand made, back at our former Ceramic. Co.

I love how it looks with the pink sherbets. Pink and green is one of my fave combos.

A close up of the candle holder made by us.

I love my new gift; the antique French Opaline flower vase.

Here you have it, my first Spring table scape. I will also be making a very green table to honor my Irish friends in blog land, and to join Kathleen's  St. Patrick's Party. Hope uou do too.

Hope Spring comes soon this year for all of you my sweet friends. Thanking you in advance for your kind comments, as you always make my day!
