The table is all set for lunch with the dishes that were made at our former ceramic co., as some of you might recognized them by now. For my new friends, my husband owned a ceramic co. up to four years ago and I used to design the patterns of the dishes inspired by the indigenous women's apparels and the men's shirts as they are embroidered in beautiful vivid colors. The embroidery varies from the different regions of Ecuador.... I had 14 designs on sale. They were hand made by potters -wheel, like in the movie Ghost, lol... and each piece hand decorated, as well.
A beautiful vintage buffet with red roses arranged on a tin antique pitcher.
A very old hutch with some of my Sil's English transfer ware pink things.
This lovely crystal and gold pitcher is an antique from the 20's, it's also a family heirloom. |
A small cart with the salad and hot sauce. |
Hubs shot a pic of me passing by the dishes. |
Before the table was set for dinner, there was this beautiful embroidered tablecloth in brown. |
A romantic window taken from the outside and you can see the pink rose arrangement in the blue vase. |
An antique table with a pretty arrangement with a couple of great looking ceramic roosters...in the back closed porch. |
In the enchanted garden a beautiful gazebo sorrounded by vegetation with an iron table and chairs, just wonderful to have afternoon tea there.
Hi again! I promised I will show some of the interiors of my Bil and Sil's the 300 yr. old hacienda, as if I ever show you everything there is to see here, in such a big house, there will be too many pictures and it will be very boring, lol.
Thank you for coming to the last tour of my Bil and Sil's beautiful 300 year old, restored hacienda. You've been wonderful and so generous going to the tour with me, as I just love this enchanted and unique place... this prompted me to want to share it with you all, my terrific blog friends, as I knew you would enjoy it.
Lots of hugs,
FABBY
I appreciate you wonderful hostesses for having me once more to show off this magnificent hacienda at your terrific and fun parties. Thank you ladies.

Hi Fabby,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love this garden at the hacienda!! Giant trees that look hundreds of years old and beautiful flower beds.
And the inside -- goodness. They have so much beautiful antique furniture, and dishes, of course. All the lovely flower arrangements; it's all just gorgeous! Fun to see that your hubby captured a picture of you. :)
Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

Hi Fabby,
ReplyDeletethat all looks like a different world. So tropical and colorful. And everywhere those beautiful roses. Whenever I see a rose bouquet now, I think they are from this rose farm. And may be they are truly from Equador. The whole house is beautiful. Just the right place to display the wonderful ceramics from your company. And you look so sympathetic. Have a wonderful week.
Best greetings, Johanna

ReplyDeleteThis is one beautiful living space. I love the chandelier and chairs in the dining room and those colorful dishes are to die for. I'd be too afraid to eat on them because it's obvious someone put a lot of work into making them.
Love, love that window with the pink flowers too.
