FABBY: I Pledge Allegiance to the USA.

This beautiful flag bow was given to me by my best friend Stephanie, she also lives here and we celebrate 4th. of July together, every year.
This scalloped glass compote with blue, was my mother's gift to me, a while back.
Red, white and blue floating stars.
I made cheese burgers, fries, apple pie for dessert and coffee, for dinner tonight...is these menu Americana, or what?!
Next to the table my French red striped chair...it went perfect, right?!
I used my 30 yr. old flag as tablecloth.  This glass pitcher with the middle band in blue glass diamonds is an antique, it was English, from the 1940's, I bought it years ago at an antique shop.

I was so lucky to find the USA  candles in a candle shop and I had a piece of wood where I put them and the whole thing is ansambled on an antique, church brass candle holder, my mil gave them to us...they're  two.

Love the candle stars!  RED, WHITE AND BLUE FOR EVER!!
The large picture, in the pewter frame, in the background , was taken 12 yrs. ago of us, American girls, Alexandra, Sofia and me.
My Patriotic sweater and flag pin.
The cute striped mugs I bought a while ago for a $1 each.

I did the Patriotic table on my new Italian vintage table, because of the flag, the shape of it looked better on this table.  Bellow, my apple pie.....light and simple, not very heavy...hope so!
Happy 4th. of July to all my compatriots from blog land!!  All the way from Ecuador,... we, my American daughters, Alexandra and Sofia, along with me, wish the greatest country in the world to be God blessed  and safe.  We pledge aligance  to the United States of America and to the Flag....           Thanks to all the wonderful hostesses from the great parties I'll be linking to.  Thank you in advance for your  so nice and generous comments, as I'm always thrilled to hear from you!

  5. Hi Fabby,

This is a WONDERFUL Fourth of July table!! It looks so pretty and festive. I really adore your frilly compote dish and your antique English pitcher. What gorgeous pieces. You really were lucky to find those USA candles; I live in the states, and I haven't seen anything like that. And the floating star candles are great, too. Your cheerful, happy spirit always comes through in all your posts. I enjoyed this very much.

    Hugs to You,

  27. This is my first time visiting your blog. I was delighted with your Independence Day table until I realized that you used a flag as a table cloth. This is a great dishonor to the flag my father died to defend. I hope and pray that you will find another cloth for your beautiful table and put the flag in the place of honor it deserves.
