November Rosary, Christmas Table and Cake

Hello sweet friends !

As most of the friends that follow me know I have a rosary prayer with ten friends every month, here at my home and we pray for peace, the sick, the ailing and the countries of the world in the hope there are no wars ahead.

We prayed for dear blog friends that have their husbands ill, that may the Lord Jesus Christ heal them soon, however, nothing is impossible for Him!
Dear friends we have obliged your request for prayers, as you know by now who you are.

I fixed the dinner table for my friends for a little humble tea with bread, jam and cheese, but this time I baked a delish lemon cake for a change and of course I decorated the dining room and table for Christmas already. There are lots of photos... sorry.

We are planning to go to my hometown NYC to meet our daughter Alexandra, Sergio and baby Maxima at the end of December; we will be there a couple of weeks and then we will go to sunny Miami for another couple of weeks, therefore, I'm happy my dining area is Christmasy already.

Hope you are all in the holiday mood now that Thanksgiving is behind.

Happy Holiday Season.

I was so happy to create my first Christmas table for my friends Rosary prayers and thus to use my Lynns Holiday china.
I usually set the table for eight, then as they come and are more then I procede to add places as needed, otherwise we just stay at eight as it was today.

At your far left the best 'Lemon Cake' ever!

The center cloche contains a small Nativity scene to remember what Christmas it's all about. I had to turn all the lights off because the glare in the cloche  was very strong and you could hardly see what was inside it, actually.

I baked the pretty cake in my favorite 'Heritage Nordic Ware' bundt pan.

A close up of my little Nativity with the 'Holy Family.'

The cute little napkin rings were crisscross embroidered by my mother's friend who gifted me a few months ago because she wanted me to make a table using them, for my blog friends, come Christmas... wasn't she thoughtful and cute?

I will show her photos of this table, she will be very happy to see them in action hehehe.

I used a lot of greenery for my centerpiece.

My friend's loved the Lemon Cake too.

The breakfast area is done up for the Christmas Holiday as well.

Our heirloom English buffet done up with some of my favorite Christmas things.

In this other buffet I didn't move anything of the regular décor, just added my skinny wooden angel and my St. Patrick's Cathedral, which by the way, I forgot to buy batteries and it's beautiful all lit up... shocks!

In the kitchen my plate rack it's in the Holiday mode too.

Thank you dear friends for your kind comments, you always make my day!

Thanking the lovely hostesses who have me at their great parties.

LOVE,
FABBY
