I went for a black and white tablescape for Father's Day, as my hubby loves this combo very much. We will be going to my daughter Sofia and Sil, Giancarlo's house for F's.D., about 3 hrs. away, at a Pacific port, Guayaquil, where they reside...we'll be all there, because it's our daughter Victoria's 7th. birthday too, the 19th. F's D.... I will make a table setting at her house too.
The white tablecloth is made of Egyptian linen and hand made in Philippines, along with the napkins.
The white china is Noritake's, White Scapes. The black and white china is Multiple Choice.
The pretty cup. You can see the work of the tablecloth.
The old fashion, etched, hand made, antique, champagne glasses, were my Fil's parents. The wine and water etched, hand made glasses are Bohemian, from the Czech Republic.
The ivory ball is from India. The bronze, French vintage dog is from my collection of dogs.
The champagne we'll be having is, HENKEL-Trocken.
The metal, hammered ball is Indian too.
This gorgeous whisky decanter was my fil's, antique, from Venice, it comes with 6 of the cutest glasses.
The center piece is a black glass urn with lid I bought a while ago. I loved the flowers with red and yellow to give this very masculine table some color.
This one is one of my favorites tablecloths, but I hardly use it because when it gets dirty, I don't like washing it and worse, the linen is awful to iron...it seems like you never finish!!
The black and white tablescape.
Have a beautiful Father's Day with your hubby's and your fathers, if you're so lucky to still have them with you. Thank you in advance for your wonderful and generous comments. Hugs, FABBY

Fabby, This is a very stunning tablescape. I love your dog collectibles and the crystal is so very elegant too. The tablecloth is so pretty; you did a good job ironing it - it looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous and elegant table setting! It looks just wonderful in black and white. I love the look of your linen table cloth but I understand your dislike of the ironing of it too. It's hard enough to iron a linen blouse and keep it wrinkle free! Hugs, Pamela
