The "Shrimp Ceviche" made by Alejandro and all it's garnishings. |
The garnishes are, a salad, popcorn, roasted-corn and fried plantains, but we didn't have the latter...thank goodness, cause they're fattening! |
The green, ceramic napkin ring with the little bird was also made at our past Ceramic Co. Here you can see how the bowls have 3 feet in the form of leaves..and so does the handles. |
The Andean mountains in the foreground. |
Up front, in the small bowl you can see the roasted-corn which are yummy. You buy them ready in the super market. |
The pretty platter up front is for the chicken cutlets. |

Fabby- Every time I come here I find it more and more beautiful. Your dinner ware is just gorgeous-what a wonderful pattern to have been passed down all those many years. Your food looks fabulous and I LOVE the view out your window. There is nothing more soothing to me than water.
ReplyDeleteI can almost imagine sitting at that table and enjoying a meal with you. Do you think either one of us would let the other one get a word in edgewise? lol xox Diana
Fabby, it is always a treat to see your beautiful china. Lunch looks delicious! ~ sarah
ReplyDeleteYour table is gorgeous, the plates, cloth, everything, and your menu, so delicious. Alejandro sounds like he is a quite the chef. I always admire the views from your windows. xo
ReplyDeleteHi Fabby,
ReplyDeletehow different the views are from the windows. One is inmidst a town and the other looks like dschungle. Wonderful dishes - I think, you have never shown them before. And the tablecloth is so fine with the pottery. Thank you for sharing your great designs.
Best greetings, Johanna
Hello my dear!
ReplyDeleteWhat a joyful table ... and the food sounds as if it was fantastic.
Gorgeous.
I LOVE the view out the window. Wish I was there with you!
All happy thoughts for a wonderful New Year for you!
Cass
The dishes are so lovely! Of course the food looks great but the most beautiful is the view.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it happens with you too?!
ReplyDeleteOver and over some recipe or some dish is mentioned and though you really don't know what's about it "sounds" delightful and a wonderful choice.
But something or other comes along and you end up not investigating properly to learn about it.
One of those, for me, is Ceviche but I think I'm through with not knowing and going to learn... what a delightful and elegant looking dish. Dear Husband's Birthday is around the corner and seems something he'd appreciate... besides looking good in my table, which isn't a minor factor ;).
I love the place where you have the meals. Both the city view and the river and forest. You just have to place your setting in the way you want to have ahahahah. How lucky and fortunate is that?
There's something Christmasy in your table set and I'm absolutely in love with the soup bowl.
Thank you for sharing! (I should really be thanking Alejandro. He's the one pampering my Friend and suggesting this yummies ahahahah)
Roasted Corn is great isn't it?! We've bought it now and than and hubby absolutely adores it. Going to steal several ideas from you for his Birthday.
Love and wishes of a Great Week,
Teresa
Gorgeous, your tablescape is so pretty and lunch looks wonderful. I would love to be there enjoying it with you, it really sounds yummy. Your view is stunning. I think I would sit there all day and just enjoy. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, marty
ReplyDeleteLooks yummy! My daughter Savannah loves ceviche. :)
ReplyDeleteFabby, your lunch table looks so beautiful. I love the dishes and seeing the whole table with the colours is beautiful. I believe the colours make the meal more appetizing. Now I'm hungry. Good thing it's almost lunch time but my lunch won't look like yours. :) Hugs, Pamela
ReplyDeleteIt seems so warm. We are freezing here. It has been showing this morning. I feel chilled to the bone.
ReplyDeleteThe view from your window is so interesting. Perhaps you could take your camera and go closer for us?
Hi Fabby,
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous views you have from your home! It's beauty inside and beauty outside!!!

Your lunch looks delicious!! The plates on your table are so pretty, as is the view out the window. Just a wonderful lunch all around!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place for your lunch, with the beautiful view both outside and on your table. I'm curious...is popcorn a dish you usually serve with ceviche? Is it used as a garnish? It all looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteBabs

ReplyDeleteOK, Fabby, I'm going to prove how dumb I am right here for all the world to see: I had NO idea about the garnishments for shrimp ceviche!!! Popcorn?!??!! Really?!??!! That really threw me for a loop! I love popcorn, but I would never have thought of it as a garnish! Your table is exquisite, and the view...I would never be able to leave that window! You really live in a gorgeous place, young lady!!! I wish I was brave enough to get on an airplane. I would love to see that beautiful place! Enjoy the rest of the week!

ReplyDeleteHello, dear Fabby! I don't know what to mention first--the GORGEOUS dishes, the YUMMY meal (too bad about the plantains, fattening or not, they would be so delicious with your ceviche!), or your view! Every pattern you created for your company is as pretty or prettier than the next! I would love to see a table with this patter at Christmas!! Those bowls are just too, too precious. Buen provecho! I hope this wonderful meal was fully enjoyed! Hugs to you, Fabby. ~Zuni
