Magnolias for Mother's Day 2021

Hello sweet friends !

I just arrived after spending two weeks at my dear Sofia's house, about three hours away from us. We went to stay with their three kids, our two teenagers and baby boy almost 2 1/2.

Therefore, again I haven't been around blog land, because time is the least I had.

Anyway I'm back and I'm sharing my 'Mother's Day' tablescape in honor of my sweet mother who is 91 and not to well in her mind, (she forgets a lot.)

I thought of her when I started this tablescape, specially cause she loved this china I brought from Madrid three years ago and I used it for four guests on Mom's Day in her honor, that same year.

I wish everyone of you a wonderful and blessed Mother's Day tomorrow. If you are a mother, a grandmother, or even a great grand ! Of course if you have a dear mother in your life, much more so.

I bought this "Magnolia" bone china dinnerware on my last trip to Spain, to visit our daughter Alexandra who lives there.

The beautiful store is "El Corte Ingles" and it's what's on the back of the plates. The sales lady told me they were specially manufactured for their store from Portugal.

I happen to 'ran' into this pretty "runner" with a Magnolia motiff and thought perfect for my Magnolia china for Mother's Day.

I tried not to cover the Magnolia in the runner, although the center part is.

Baked a 'Marble Cake' for my mother who loves it !

                   Flowers from the condo's garden.

"Marble Cake" recipe from an old Good Housekeeping magazine. The best, I've made it for decades!

Thank you so much dear friends for your sweet comments, you always make my day !

Thanking the lovely hostesses for their great parties and for so many features I am honored with, from some of you.

                                            LOVE,

A Garden Table and Blue Danube china

  Hello sweet friends !

So I just fell in love with this cheerful and summery, blue and white floral tablecloth and it immediately came home with me !

I created this tablescape with lots of flowers in the center of the table, that's why I call it "garden table" and my Blue Danube, Onion china.

If this COVID situation goes away slowly because we are getting vaccinated, as hubby and I got. I would love it to be my first table to celebrate with siblings, or some friends.

Wishing each one of you and your families to continue living with careful and safe measures, until we are protected again and everyone can feel comfortable without the fear of COVID "stalking us."

Blessings.

This floral tablecloth I recently acquired, as I immediately fell in love with it, inspired me this "Blue and White Spring table," with a "flower runner."

I used my beloved Blue Danube, Onion china.

This would be my first dinner party I'll make after COVID restriction, which I have hope it will be, probably, next year ?

Don't you love the tablecloth, like me ?

              The etched glassware is Venetian.

Thank you dear friends for your kind comments, you always make my day !

Thanking each lovely lady for taking the time to host the great parties.

LOVE,

FABBY

Last Easter Sunday table for a Family Luncheon

 Hello sweet ladies !

I'm late cause I changed my mind about my Easter table, as you know I love creating new tables, it makes me so happy and giddy cause of my passion for dishes, china, glasses, linens, flatware, flowers, etc. You know !

We were so lucky to have had our daughter and her family visiting us for the whole week before Easter Sunday.

So here is the table setting before it was a mess with me serving and everything else, you know what I mean.

Along with my creamware, reticulated china, I used my 'Easter-Egg salad plates,' that I love.

Hope you all had a great 'Easter Sunday of Resurrection,' as we did.

With that said.

This was a real tablescape for Easter. We had our daughter Sofia and her family. We enjoyed it so much and celebrated "Resurrection Sunday" with much love.

Whenever I use this Easter Egg salad plates people ask me about them, as much as the 'Creamware reticulated china.'

The salad plates are:  'Gold Buffet - Royal Gallery.' Made in Sri Lanka. They come in a box of four. I have two boxes.

Thank you so much dear friends for your kind comments, you always make my day !

Thanking the lovely hostesses for their great parties.

LOVE,

FABBY

TABLE FOR SIX. HAPPY EASTER 2021

 Hello sweet friends !

I do hope you are all off to a good start of Holy Week, leading to Easter Sunday.

I created an Easter table for six, in the hope that we are at least six, instead of just the two of us all the time.

I was so inspired in my couple of bunny planters from last year and this year I found a bigger mother bunny with baby.

I simply love them, because I think this way, the bunnies add to the Spring decor with flower plants and for Easter Sunday coming, as well.

Anyhow, here is my contribution to my Easter tablescape 2021.

Have a wonderful 'Holy Week' you all and a greater 'Easter Sunday.'

I know I will, as my sweet elderly mother, 91 years old, got vaccinated against COVID just a couple of hours ago.

All went perfect !

May blessing showers pour your way.

The bunny family.

My dear daughter and family are visiting and she wanted me to bake her fav cake, as she used to eat it all as soon as she hit the kitchen door after she came home from school !

                                        Mr. and Mrs. Bunny

You've seeing my antique china, inherited from dear MIL. It must be way over 70 years old.

Thank you for dropping by dear friends, you make my day !

Thanking the gracious hostesses for their great parties.

LOVE,

FABBY

Happy St. Patrick's Day 2021

 Hello sweet friends !

I'm so sorry I haven't been able to post or comment, or answer your kind comments. I've been having computer problems and I just got it back as it had the fan broken inside, that was the reason it went off after five minutes, than 2 and finally never !

So it is fixed and hope it lasts a good while, before I get to buy a brand new one.

Here is my contribution to this year's St. Pat's Day with a tablescape I had so much fun creating it. You see, I found these cute bowls with clovers just at the knick of time, lol.. I really bought them without any hesitation because they were $ 1,00 each !

I paired them with my all green china and it looked just perfect !

Wishing all of you a great "St. Patrick's Day" and lots of LUCK for everyone !

The Shamrock bowls were found at a little store for a $1,00 each... lol

Love tulips and the green all year round !

I paired the cute bowls with my green china and gold chargers.

The green 'Bohemian' flower vase is retro 1960's and was my mom's.

Thank you dear friends for your kind comments, you always make my Day !

Thanking the gracious hostesses for their parties too.

                                                  LOVE,

                                                   FABBY
