Hello sweet friends!
Here is Valentine's and Carnival month ending just as fast as it came.
Therefore, I have my last Wednesday of the month Rosary prayers and Tea with some lovely friends. There could be from ten to fifteen ladies, I never know until the same day, this way I can set the round table as well, which is a zilch
Prayers for all of you will be said tomorrow, so if there is a special request, please feel free to let me know.
Blessings to you all.
I used an under cloth in pink and on top my lovely heirloom crochet tablecloth that was my dear Mil's. |
I bought myself this lovely Czech tea set for twelve place settings and serving pieces you see here, for my birthday four years ago. |
There are two small serving trays where I will place pieces of cheese to be served with bread and home made jams. The tea food is very humble. |
The cake plate, teacup and saucer and the small tray for serving cookies or cheese in my case. |
I wanted a Spring look for this setting, it makes me happy. |
The small bowl and saucer for the home made jam is vintage Bavarian... They were my Mil's and I have two. |
My Mil had this gorgeous tablecloth crocheted by hand and I always coveter it, so I was lucky to inherit it. |
Tomorrow you will see some little chocolates and cookies in the Lady Carlyle server. |
Dutch hound butter knife rests |
The tray is flanked by two water goblets that have very small chips in the edges, so I saved them for this use. Keep yours, don't throw them to the garbage! |
I adore this crocheted tablecloth! |

Hi Fabby: Love this Spring table. Please pray for me, I need to get rid of this infection. Thank you. Hugs, Martha
ReplyDeleteFabby, your tea table is simply lovely and lends such a spring-like feel. The crocheted tablecloth is a beauty and you're blessed to have it. I love your tea set. One can forget all about the snow when looking at it. Thank you for sharing and joining me for Tea Time.

Sandi
Your Czech tea set is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteDearest Fabby,
ReplyDeleteFrankly speaking I said out loud: 'Oh girl... you always manage to match the flowers with your china!'
What a lovely display and your dear Mother-in-law will be smiling down from heaven for seeing her beloved crocheted tablecloth in all its splendor serving at a Rosary Tea!
Sending you hugs and please keep my siblings in your prayers so that they might return to their heavenly Father!
Mariette
Hi Fabby your table is gorgeous and I love your china! Have a wonderful tea with friends!

How beautiful, Fabby! I can imagine that I hear the oohs and aahs when your group enters the dining room!
ReplyDeleteYou always set the prettiest tables, Fabby -- even the candles match! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tea! The Czech dishes are so gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Fabby,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table and to gather together for prayer is amazing. Thank you for sharing your home and Rosary Tea.
Joyously,
Betty @ My Cozy Corner
ReplyDeleteHi dear Fabby...Beautiful table with pretty crocheted table cloth and pretty dishes. Love the spring colours and beautiful flowers. Thank you for keeping us in your prayer. Love and hugs Sujatha:)
How absolutely beautiful! Love it all! hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful table and I love that set of china, Fabby. The BEST thing is that you actually use your china! So many of us "collect" and "keep" it but don't use it like you do. The Czech tea set is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIf you get this before your prayer group please pray for Dr.Allen Ball. He has terminal brain cancer and is declining rapidly. Pray for his wife, Carol, too, and his children. Thanks and God bless- xo Diana
Hi Fabby...love your spring table...love the Lady Carlyle server and the pretty crocheted table cover over the soft pink. Thanks for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!
ReplyDeleteRuth
Beautiful as always Fabby! I always say you have the best collection of china of anyone I know! I love the light and cheerful coloring of this. I am going to move towards spring in March no matter what the weather is really like here!
ReplyDeleteMy first tea set as a child was a set covered in tiny pink rose buds.
ReplyDeletePink rose patterned tea cups still always catch my eye...even 50 years later.
OMG, this is so beautiful Fabby, Love that it evokes spring so fabulously!
ReplyDeleteI just came upon your blog site. What a lovely idea to host a Rosary/Prayer tea with your friends. Do I understand correctly, you host a Rosary tea once a month. I would like to do something similar and wonder do you actually say the whole Rosary and do you also include the prayer requests people send you and those of your friends at the table?
ReplyDeleteYour table setting is beautiful - everything is so special.
Wow, can I say gorgeous over and over again? Stunning china and your table look fabulous dear Fabby. Makes me smile. xo
ReplyDeleteAnother Fabby's Fabulous table to feast the eyes upon! Lovely as always and the crochet over the color is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteBonjour ma chère Fabby,
ReplyDeleteJe te remercie tout d'abord pour ton gentil message. Tes petits mots me font toujours tellement plaisir.
Gros bisous ♡
