Hello sweet friends!
I hope you all had a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving.
I'm sharing my Foyer and Living room all decked for Christmas 2014, Tour 2.
Like I said before, I don't do great changes, I just add to what's always there and I use some of my fave pieces like this tiered blue and white Meissen server. I just add more or less and here and there, no biggie; so I hope you don't get bored, lol!
Ok, here goes some pics of a part of the house. I will post next the den where everything happens, tree and mantel... actually C'mas itself!
'HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON'
The antique French table in the foyer decorated for Christmas. |
The Chinese secretary |
The foyer's chandy is got some blintz too! |
The living room |
The antique heirloom Virgin Mary is center attention this Christmas too. |
One end table with an angel...(sorry the ugly cables from my computer system at left) |
My little marble end table gets a candle too. |
The other end table with a German Santa. I also love candles! |
This pretty ceramic C'mas ball with a scented candle was a gift from my DD Alexandra a few years ago. |
I'm so glad it's 'beginning to look like Christmas' around here. |
The antique Chinese 'camphor' chest. Thank you so much for your visits and sweet comments my dear friends, you always make my day! LOVE, FABBY Thanking the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties, specially the sweet ones that honor me by featuring me at their wonderful parties. ReplyDeleteBonjour ma chère Fabby,
ReplyDeleteLa touche de Noël se trouve parcimonieusement un peu partout dans ta maison et j'aime ainsi l'atmosphère festive que tu as crée.
On se sent bien chez toi !...
J'ai aperçu ta jolie petite commode tombeau...
J'espère que ton mois de décembre sera heureux...
Avec plein de bisous ♡

ReplyDeleteI bet your grandgirls are getting excited with Christmas only 3 weeks away! That was hard for me to type, yikes, I can't believe it is only 3 short weeks away!
Have a wonderful week.

Lovely, lovely!! Your home is looking like Christmas! The beautiful foyer table is so inviting with all of those goodies and I love the Virgin on your living room table! I'm slowly getting our home ready. We were ill over Thanksgiving but are all feeling better now. I've also been helping at church with new decorations. Love this busy time of year! So glad I'm retired or might not get it all done. Have a wonderful week, Fabby!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't do any changes this year either. I did so many the past two and it was nice this year to not. I do get such a thrill out of pulling everything out though! It looks beautiful and glad you got it all done!
ReplyDeleteHi Fabby, your Christmas touch are beautiful. I haven't been a very good blogger since we sold our house, just too much on my plate right now. Take care and enjoy the holidays.
ReplyDeleteDearest Fabby,
ReplyDeleteLovely decorations you got in your Foyer and Living Room for the coming Christmas season.
That antique camphor chest made me 'smell' the old ladies' lace head TOER or POFFER, while I was seated behind them at Church as a child...
Sending you hugs,
Mariette
Such lovely vignettes...your home looks very festive. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the dogs with the red ribbons.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful Fabby all trimmed up perfect for Christmas :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up #weekendbloghop
I have seen this a few days ago and already commented but it's nice to see it again. I love, love, love your house, Fabby. My favorite is the vignette on your secretary and the secretary itself....Christine
ReplyDeleteHow do you do it? So pretty all over! Don't worry about the computer cables showing...it's life! I was stressing over the fact that I couldn't hide all of the cords from various Christmas arrangements around the house, and Ramon reminded me that cords are what created the pretty look and that no one gives a hoot about them!
ReplyDeleteChristmas is coming to your home, no doubt :-)
ReplyDeleteRemember discovering your blog when I glimpsed a wonderfully decorated Christmas tree...
feliz navidad :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful touches of Christmas Fabby! Your home looks just lovely! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
