Hello sweet friends !
I created a pink tablescape for this 'Holy Week' leading to 'Easter Resurrection Sunday,' using mostly pink. Therefore, I started as my focal point, my pink French country style chargers.
I didn't use a tablecloth for a change, as the pink looked great against the wooden dinner table.
On top my dear MIL's heirloom antique pink-rose china, sherbits in pink and purple, with real bird nests inside with chocolate eggs and candy eggs... along with water glasses to match and German purple wine glasses with purple stems.
The centerpiece flanked by pitchers I arranged my flowers in... was created with a clotch where I raised a bigger bird's nest with quail little eggs and candy colored eggs, plus a wooden cross painted in gold made, while in grade school by my then little daughter Sofia... my little treasure cross !
Wishing you and yours a wonderful and very blessed Easter Sunday 2019.
My French country pink chargers start the place setting, with our antique heirloom china from dear MIL. I used to pair the rose china a reticulated dinner plate from my complete cutwork style china. |
Bird nests inside the pink and purple sherbets The wine glasses are German and their stems are purple too. |
The dinner plate comes from my 'reticulated' china. |
This is such a pretty pink 'plastic' charger, inexpensive and with the vintage style look, or French country, that gives it such charm. It just says made in China, lol.. |
Since I already had a charger I used the dinner plate from my gorgeous cutout complete china for 12, which also has chargers of it's own.
I paired the 'reticulated' plates with my MIL's antique pink-rose china salad plates and entree, or dessert little bowls.
Unfortunately it doesn't say anything on the cutout china except the store's name where hubby bought it here in Ecuador, some 10 years ago, for a Mom's gift for me.
The gold runner and doilies to match are 'Swiss' and bought them at least 25 years ago, or more. I love the gold and the pink roses in the print as well to go with the pink china and chargers. |
The centerpiece is a gold clutch with a bigger bird's nest filled with quail eggs and candy as well, to celebrate 'Easter or Resurrection Sunday..." My 'mischievous' bunnies are goldish too and match well with the runner.
No one does a table setting any more beautiful than you do!!! Blessed Easter greetings....
