My mother gave me this Candle Light by American Limoges-22k. Gold, (this is in back of plates). She said it was for the memories as not much is left of it, except 5 place sets, some of the dinner plates are chipped and so I covered the chips with the napkins. There's a salad bowl, a oval platter and a cute sugar bowl...no cup and saucers left! I love the pretty gold finials on the plates.
The center piece is French antique, as it was my hubby's grandparents an art Noveu piece from the 20's...I ciuldn't believe how incredible it went together with such a very French colour, from the Napoleonic Empire era, it's a Federal Blue... (this is also in back of plates). It has a monogram from his dad's side of the family CA and we have the same initials, AC, so that's why my MIL left it to us. The faux flower arrangement was made by my MIL...I'm finally ready to take them off and make something new.
Thank you for visiting me, I'm always thrilled to have you.
Love...FABBY

The table is beyond gorgeous....it is heavenly with the china pieces from your family. The color is the softest Robin's eggs aqua that I have ever seen!! It could easily be "mine".....know you will laugh! AND the centerpiece is stunning......have never seen anything like that in antique shops but I will be looking now. I think since it is a piece inherited from your husband's family makes it truly a treasure ......I am so sentimental and adore anything from my family even if it is just a handkerchief! Who would not love to sit at this table, partake of your cooking and join in the conversation that is sure to flow!! ......just lovely, like you in your blog!
