Hello sweet friends!
This table is for a Summer luncheon I'm planning soon, as a transition to Summer and using the guest rooms curtains that came down as I'm also planning to redecorate both rooms and replace them with 'Hunter Douglas' fabric shades as I did three years ago to the social area of the house.
In the meantime, some of you might remember three years ago I replaced my living room and dining room drapes for HD cloth shades and we are very happy with them. But, I repurposed the fabric from the curtains back then and had made three table cloths which came out really lovely.
I had placed the drapes several years ago to this lovely cotton floral chintz material, when my DDs were still teens. This is the type of material you also use for upholstery. So here they are, turned into a large tablecloth, along with 12 lined napkins.
I will be of course, using my new dishes from Mother's Day.
New china, tray centerpiece with a retro green and gold 'Bohemian' flower vase from my mother. Reticulated chargers and finally, repurposed table topper. |
The other side of the tray with the adorable teapot and bowl with lemons. |
I opted for white on the buffet for a fresh Summer look... with my Portuguese pitcher and my mom's lovely white tureen. |
Here you can appreciate the chintz floral repurposed tablecloth I'm loving lately. Specially of all the pink it has. |
I like the look of the Retro-green and gold, 'Bohemian' flower vase my mom gave me several years ago. |
The tablecloth came out so pretty with the pleats hanging on the four sides. |
I have a collection of many doggies and here are a couple this time. |
In the tray a glass honey-bee jar bowl for the ones who would like their tea with honey, instead of sugar. |
I also had 12 dinner, lined in pink napkins done. |
I paired my green water glasses with the amber Italian crystal stems. |
What a wonderful way to reuse those lovely drapes! Your tablecloth and napkins are just gorgeous! The green rimmed dishes are such a compliment. Such a pretty table.

Bravo l'artiste !
Gros bisous ❀
Gorgeous, refreshing and heartwarming! I love re-purposed items as well. :)
