Hello sweet friends!
My week has been so very busy, hosting Three Kings Day tea party and today I had a luncheon with my dearest cousins, mother, Alejandro and me.
My cousin Silvana lives in Tampa, Flo. and is here visiting us. She is from NY originally like me, so we grew up together with another lovely cousin back in Tampa.
Such fond memories from my aunt, uncle and our childhood. We had a great time reminiscing wonderful bygone days.
I did a luncheon with my cousin, who is from here, such a lovely girl... mother and Alejandro and of course, my special guest from Tampa.
Even though my C'mas décor it's still at present, because I haven't had a minute this week to put anything away, except for cooking and baking nonstop. I created a 'Winter- January' setting with my blue and white Onion dishes for my cousins' luncheon.
With that said; here is my 'January-Winter 2015' tablescape for a luncheon.
I always love the crispness of white linens with a blue and white china... as it does remind me of Winter time. |
I used this pretty white organza cut work tablecloth on top of a blue and white one... not a very elaborate table for this luncheon. |
Love your blue and white table...it is so nice to see something other than Christmas tables for a change. Beautiful tablecloths.
ReplyDeleteNice picture of you and your family...bet you had a great time visiting, too.
Such a lovely table, Fabby. Blue and white are my first choice for a table, whether elegant or casual. What a treat it must have been for you to be with your cousins and your mother. We are still allowed to be 'girls' when we are with our mothers!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Blue...I love your tablescape and it's always wonderful to entertain family. Thanks for sharing♥
ReplyDeleteJoyously,
Betty
Love the setting, the tablecloths too. So fun for you to have your relatives together. I keep my Christmas décor up till after January 6th and everything is packed away but things that work for winter décor like snowmen and of course red candle holders will be up till after Valentines day.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun blessed weekend
Erika

Your table settings are all works of art!!
I am still entranced with that view from your window......I would linger there forever.....just watching.....
And a perfect transition from Christmas to Life. Normal and Gorgeous and oh so elegant Life.
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd say wonderful things about the tablescape but your gorgeous family in the picture blindsided me - you all look so blissful. And beautiful! I already thought you had the most beautiful daughters and now I can see it runs in the family ahahahah.
About the tablescape there's nothing, I repeat nothing, I would change it because you can't upsize perfect. I love the linens you used and the effect of skirt you managed into it.
I'd tell you to rest but I can see now that work it's what keeps you going gorgeous.
Keep creating and keep inspiring us.
Love,
Teresa
