Hello sweet friends!
I am joining Kathleen's at Let's Dish for her new challenge...a NEW table with NO Easter!
My table setting is simple, inspired in the lovely lace-cut work tablecloth, which I haven't used it yet and bought on sale last year sometime.
The reticulated chargers and teacup-saucers; my mother's lovely vintage aqua 'French Limoges' set of dishes and lace napkins to close this 'simple lace table scape.'
I hope you like it!
My inspiration for this table scape is this lovely lace cut work tablecloth I bought on sale last year. |
Therefore, along with mother's French Limoges dishes she gifted me several years ago...I used reticulated chargers, lace napkins and the reticulated teacups and saucers, instead of the aqua ones. |
The fresh bouquet of flowers I bought today in the grocery store for $. 1,15. The etched stems are Viennese and I used only the wine ones, so to keep the setting in the 'ethereal side.' |
I love the center lace in the cloth. |
The Limoges dishes are aqua and ivory, (not white). |
I adore fresh flowers and always have them at my house to cheer me up and enjoy them. |
Alejandro gave me this past February for our 39th. Anniversary this gorgeous 'Fleur De Lys' Portuguese pitcher, which I can't seem to stop using it with flowers, lol! |
The stack of dishes and ivory flatware to match, except the light made them appear yellow ! |
The napkins are ivory with lace too, as are the lacy saucers in the teacups. The napkin rings are wooden animal print. |

ReplyDeleteThe Triumph of Femininity. or a Hymn to it. That's what I'd call this setting. WOW!
ReplyDeleteDear Fabby I believe that's hopless romantic and lovely. I already envied those chargers before but paired with Mother's Lovely China I was floored.
So much beauty and whimsy created, Dear Friend!
Tablecloth is precious too and again Lace is something so Feminine. Even more Spartans Eras - like Victorian - reserved that exquisite detail for the most important moments of your life.
You throw grand big parties but when in a small one you seem to be even better... or it is the case that I don't get lost in so much lovely details so easily ahahahah
Wishing you a wonderful weekend,
Teresa
