Three Tea Tablescapes !

Hello sweet friends !

I ended up making 'three simple tables' settings for tea time this past April and the last May 1st. One... thinking of my baby brother who turned 60 on April 22 and I baked a cake in his honor. He lives in the capital Quito now, as before he lived in Panama. Yes, baby bro did turn 60 !

The second table was created for our monthly Rosary just in the round breakfast table for six yesterday and I did proceed to take some photos to share on my blog as I do every month... as it turned out it was 'Labor Day' May 1st., here in Ecuador and many other countries of the world, I thought not many would show up for the rosary, so I just prepared a small setting for six only.

To my surprise many more started calling that they would attend to pray for the suffering country of 'Venezuela.'

I was so happy that ten ladies were attending and one that at the end couldn't make it.

Anyway, I promptly started setting the large dinner table for more 'attendees' instead. Rapidly I decided to set it with place mats as there was no time for me to be ironing tablecloths.

Anyway, with that said !

Just for us and our baby Alonso's nany and another friend, we celebrated my 'baby' brother's 60th. birthday, lol..

The cake I baked was his favorite "Chocolate Cake, with coffee and red Fruit Sauce".

Except I just covered it with 'chocolate glaze' instead for the Chocolate crazy ones, as my little brother is !

I used my 'Onion-Blue Danube' tea set and teacups from my complete china.
The teapot is "Bareuther-Indischblau" Bavaria, Germany. I love this pattern too and I hope to find some pieces of it someday... on a trip to Miami and at replacements, I guess.

This is such an amazingly delish chocolate cake recipe I found on Pinterest:
"Chocolate Bundt Cake and Coffee with Red Fruit Sauce." Pinterest.
I didn't do the 'Red fruit Sauce' and instead covered it with chocolate glaze.

This is the first table I prepared for Rosary prayers, just for six, thinking maybe not many will show as it was 'Labor Day' holiday here yesterday, on the First of May.

I explained at the beginning of this post.

Breakfast room and table.

Suddenly the ladies started calling, so I rushed to set the large formal dinner table and spread placemats immediately, as there was no time for ironing table cloths.

This Italian made 'Tognana' china was my best for dinner parties when we were young. I probably have her more then 34 years, surely.

The Rosary tea food is very humble, as it is not a social gathering.

Therefore, two kinds of warm bread is served, along with homemade Fruit Jam and 'Dulce de Leche,' we love spreading on the bread and  Cheese; that would be all.

These placemats and runner have two sides. The other side is made with the 'Toile de Jouy' material that was left over from the chairs.

Thank you for your kind comments dear friends, you always make my day !

Thanking the lovely hostesses for their great parties.

LOVE,
FABBY
